About

Overview

Cursed Tank Simulator is a PvP battle game where you mix and match modules — hulls, turrets, guns, and more — to build your own tank and fight other players. This guide covers how to get into a match, how each game mode works, how to earn and spend rewards, and what to do when you feel stuck.

Getting into your first match

Step
In short Joining a server takes just a few clicks, and choosing your ammo load before you spawn makes a real difference.

From the main screen, hit PLAY and agree to the Terms of Service. Pick any server that shows a green button — that means it has open slots. If every server is full, use the Start New Server button instead. Once you are inside, you land in the spawn screen rather than straight into combat.

  1. Click PLAY agree to the Terms of Service when prompted.
  2. Pick a server choose one with a green button so you know it has room.
  3. Start New Server use this only if every listed server is full.
  4. Set your ammo use the slider above each tank before clicking it to deploy.
  5. Choose a spawn point click a blue square to land where you want, or skip it to spawn at a random point.

Spawn protection and what it means for your opening seconds

Warn
In short You have roughly thirty seconds of invincibility after spawning, but straying from your spawn radius ends it early.

When you first appear on the map you are invincible for approximately thirty seconds. That window closes the moment you move outside a small radius around your spawn point, or when the timer simply runs out — whichever comes first. On the flip side, enemy spawn zones work against you: driving into one will damage every component of your tank continuously and can destroy you outright.

Worth watching out for
Leaving your spawn radius early ends protection instantly.
Never push into an enemy spawn zone; the damage there hits every module of your tank at once.
03

The five game modes

Table
In short Each mode rewards the same currency and crates, but the win condition is different every time, so knowing the rules stops you from playing the wrong objective.

Every mode pays out cash and crates for captures, kills, assists, and bonuses, and higher tiers give bigger rewards with better crates. The five modes share a ticket system — drain the enemy to zero and you win, or lead in tickets when the timer ends.

Team Deathmatchkill enemies to force them to respawn; each respawn costs that team 20 tickets (40 on a small server), so the team with more kills slowly runs the other side dry.
Dominationhold more of the three capture points than the enemy to drain their tickets; holding all three drains them at three tickets per second.
Battleprotect your own single capture point while trying to take the enemy's; losing yours causes a near-instant ticket bleed of roughly 100 per second.
Skirmishone central point, one fight; whoever holds it longer drains the other team's tickets.
Kill Confirmedlike Team Deathmatch, but a kill only counts when a teammate drives over the red dog-tag the destroyed tank drops.

Building your tank in the Garage

Tips
In short Experimenting with module combinations before a match is the fastest way to find a setup that fits how you want to play.

The Garage is where you assemble your tank from the modules you have collected. Hull, turret, and gun all contribute to your tank's overall performance. You can press K in the Garage to change the weather.

Tips worth knowing
  • Press K to cycle the weather in the Garage.
  • Press F1 during a match, or tap HELP on mobile, whenever you need a reminder of the controls.
05

XP, crates, and growing your collection

Tips
In short Kills, assists, captures, and survival time all feed into your XP total, and XP is the main road to new modules.

After every match you receive XP based on how you performed — kills, assists, objective captures, and bonuses all contribute. Accumulate enough XP and you level up, unlocking crate rewards. Open those crates to get new modules and build a stronger tank. Roblox Premium members receive 50 percent more currency, XP, and crate rewards, but the game is designed to have no pay-to-win elements. The grind is long — plan for 500 to 700 hours if you want to collect everything.

Tips worth knowing
  • Kills, assists, captures, and bonuses all contribute to match rewards.
  • Crate tier — higher tiers drop better and more numerous rewards.
  • Roblox Premium — grants 50 percent more currency, XP, and crate rewards per match.
  • Ultra rare crate finds — landing one earns the Unboxer badge.
06

Codes and legacy badges

Tips
In short Note that several exclusive parts came only from early testing periods and are no longer obtainable.

Some cosmetic items and hull sets were tied to specific playtesting or update windows and cannot be obtained now.

Tips worth knowing
  • Items like the Ke Ta0 2020 hull, Cromwheel hull, and BTrackless-7 hull were pre-alpha rewards and are no longer available to new players.
  • Badges for updates from ARMOURED DAWN through HOLD THE LINE were earned simply by logging in during those update windows — you earn the current update badge by playing now.
  • The EGG Mk 10 comes from joining via The Hatch and finding a hidden egg in the Garage, not from normal play.

Common questions

FAQ

Do I need to spend money to keep up with other players?

No. The game aims to have no pay-to-win elements. Roblox Premium gives 50 percent more currency, XP, and crate rewards per match, but it does not let you buy power directly.

How do I find out what all the controls are?

Press F1 at any point during a match to bring up the control reference. On mobile or tablet, tap the HELP button instead.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes, the game supports mobile and tablet. You will need a high-spec device — the developers specify hardware from 2022 onwards as the baseline.

I see other players with parts I cannot find anywhere — where do they come from?

Some items were only available during pre-alpha testing periods or specific early update windows and cannot be obtained now. These are considered unobtainable for regular players.
