Find the Chomiks is an open-world Roblox exploration game where you hunt down hidden hamster-like creatures called chomiks scattered across 18 custom areas and more than 15 realms. Every chomik you find awards you a badge, and your collection progress saves even after you log out. This guide covers how to get started, how the areas and items work, what non-GUI badges are, and how to tackle bosses and harder chomiks.
In shortThe very first chomik is right in front of you at spawn, so grab it immediately to learn how badge collection works before exploring further.
When you load in, the Normal Chomik is directly ahead of you at the spawn point. Touch it to earn your first badge and see the notification pop on screen. From there, walk around the spawn zone to get a feel for how the areas connect before heading into the wider map.
Grab the Normal Chomikturn to face it the moment you spawn; it requires no jumping or parkour.
Check the game titlethe number at the front of the title always shows the current total chomik count.
In shortThe map is divided into zones within the Main Realm and a separate Revamp Realm, so knowing the layout saves you from backtracking.
The Main Realm contains 18 zones separated by walls, ranging from Apartment and Graveyard to Kitchen and Lava. A second area called the Revamp Realm offers nine of its own zones, including revised versions of Desert, Ice, and Trash. Both the chomiks you collect and your realm progress are saved automatically.
Main Realm 18 zones including Apartment, Desert, Graveyard, Ice, Kitchen, Lava, School, Spawn, and more.
Revamp Realm 9 zones that overlap in theme with the Main Realm but are separate locations to explore.
Apartment zone split into Floors 0 through 7, reached by climbing the rope from Floor 0 or using the elevator once you unlock Apartmik.
Floor 7 the only floor that contains Soul-Crushing Chomiks, and also the location of the Funky Chomik boss fight.
Save scope only chomiks found and realm progress are kept; other content resets when you leave.

Alth…
In shortCertain hard chomiks require you to collect hidden badges that never appear in the normal badge list, so you must hunt them down as a separate task.
Non-GUI badges are earned in other Roblox games or hidden locations and feed back into Find the Chomiks to unlock specific chomiks. They exist outside the main badge counter, so you won't see them in your usual progress screen.
Tips worth knowing
Badger Chomik requires the most non-GUI badges of any chomik in the game, with at least 16 to collect.
Shattered Reality Chomik needs a long chain of non-GUI badges such as Obby, Colour, Tightrope, Gateway, Distortion, and others.
Festive Titan Chomik has multiple hidden badges of its own, making it one of the longer chains to complete.
Badge 4024 is found in a separate Roblox place called sreillmke4chomikaccs's Place and is required for Everything Chomik.
The HIDDEN BADGE, located in the Lava zone, rewards the Beethoven chat tag when you obtain it.

Tips for finding harder chomiks
Tips
In shortLater chomiks are hidden in places you would not normally look, so changing how you search matters more than spending extra time in the same spot.
The game itself recommends video tutorials when you get stuck, and that advice is worth taking seriously for anything past the beginner zones.
Tips worth knowing
Dark Matter Chomik requires pressing five buttons to build a bridge before its location is revealed, so explore for interaction points rather than just the chomik itself.
Use the in-game video tutorial link when a chomik has you completely stuck — the developers include it specifically for difficult finds.
The game is experimental and prone to lag, so if a trigger or button seems unresponsive, try again after a moment before assuming you are doing it wrong.

Lobsters and the Badger Chomik chain
Check
In shortFinding all the lobsters scattered across different realms is one step in a long chain that eventually unlocks Badger Chomik, so treat each lobster as a checkpoint.
Lobsters are collectible objects spread across many realms and separate games. Gathering them earns the code for the Badgers In Time badge, which is one of the many non-GUI badges Badger Chomik demands.

What exploiting will cost you
Warn
In shortA permanent ban with no appeal is the only outcome for exploiting, so it is never worth the risk.
The game's own description states clearly that exploiting results in a permanent ban with no appeal process.
Worth watching out for
Using exploits results in a permanent account ban with no way to appeal or reverse it.
The game is prone to lag and bugs by design.

Common questions
FAQ
Does my progress save when I leave the game?
Chomiks you have found and realm progress both save automatically. Most other content does not save.
How do I know how many chomiks are in the game right now?
The number at the front of the game's title reflects the current total at all times.
What should I do when I am completely stuck on a chomik?
The game itself points you to video tutorials for exactly this situation.
Do I need items from other Roblox games to find some chomiks?
Yes. Several items, including the Excalirod and Prism, are obtained in Fishing Simulator, and a number of non-GUI badges must be earned in entirely separate Roblox experiences. The non-GUI badge list for Badger Chomik alone spans more than a dozen outside games and badge walks.
