First things to do when you start
StepWhen you first open the game there are a few quick tasks worth doing in order. Getting codes in early means you have souls and coins ready before you spend anything. Once you have currency, pull from the gacha to start filling out your unit roster, then head into your first stage.
- Open the settings menu tap or click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Find the code box it sits next to the blue bird icon inside that menu.
- Enter a code type it exactly and confirm to receive your rewards, which include souls, coins, and Lucky Boosts.
- Spend your currency use the coins and souls you just received to pull units from the gacha.
- Start the first stage place the units you pulled and work through the opening waves to earn more rewards.
How unit types work together
TableEvery unit in the game has a role, and leaning too hard on one type will leave you exposed. A two-layer setup — something tough near the entrance and a wider-range attacker behind it — is the most reliable foundation. Add a support unit near your main attacker and the whole group punches harder.
| Long-range units | wide attack radius lets them work safely from the back, making them your main damage dealers. |
| Close-range or tanky units | high durability makes them best placed near entrances to slow enemies down. |
| Area-of-effect units | hit multiple enemies at once, so they pay off most when groups of enemies bunch together. |
| Support and buff units | boost the units around them, so one placed next to your main attacker raises your whole team's output. |

Dual-lane maps and where to place units
TipsSome maps send enemies down two separate lanes that merge before the exit. A unit sitting at the convergence point hits enemies from both streams. Adding a second unit on either side of that central spot gives you backup.
- On a dual-lane map, find where the two paths meet and place a unit there first.
- A second unit on one of the individual lanes adds coverage before enemies reach the center.
- If a map has three entrances and one exit, find the chokepoint closest to the exit and anchor your setup there.
Boss Raids
SummaryBoss Raids work like an endless mode, but with a few extra rules on top. Every ten waves a boss appears, and each successive boss has more health than the last. Every fifty waves, all your placed units are sold automatically, your cash is cut in half, and the map changes — so you have to rebuild from scratch. To compensate, you get access to modifiers that buff all your units. The currency you earn here is called Raid Coins, and it can only be spent on items exclusive to this mode.
Fixing a run that keeps failing
CheckBefore deciding you need better units, run through this checklist. The most common problems are fixable without pulling anything new from the gacha.
- Are your units actually covering the enemy path? A unit placed off the track deals no damage.
- Is your main unit upgraded? Low-level units fall behind in the later waves even if they were strong early on.
- Are you using the souls and coins you already have? Currency sitting unspent does nothing.
- Is your team balanced? Running only one unit type leaves you exposed to whichever enemy type counters it.
Staying ahead with updates and codes

Common questions
FAQCan you play without spending Robux?
Yes. Coins and souls from stage rewards and redeemed codes are enough to pull units and upgrade them without paying anything.
Where do you enter codes?
Open the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen to reach the settings menu. The code box sits next to the blue bird icon inside that menu — type your code there and confirm it to collect the reward.
What happens if you cannot beat a stage?
Check that your units are actually placed on or beside the enemy path, and make sure your main unit is upgraded rather than left at a low level.
How does the wave-50 reset in Boss Raids work?
When wave 50 arrives, every unit you placed is sold automatically and your current cash is cut in half, then the map changes. You have to rebuild your setup from the start on the new map.
