Step
Everything in Mini Rome Empire flows from your city workshops. Without one, you collect no taxes.
- Build a city workshop this is your first structure and the one that starts generating taxes.
- Upgrade the workshop into an advanced forge this raises your crafting ability and opens up more options.

Three ways to grow your empire
Table
Mini Rome Empire gives you three distinct directions. You can commit to one or mix all three as you see fit.

| Military conquest | train soldiers continuously, unlock stronger unit types, and take territory from rivals. |
| Divine path | serve the gods and draw on the power of Olympus to strengthen your empire. |
Building your legion
Step
Your army starts small and grows through a chain of unlocks. Each new unit type is more powerful than the last.
- Train Hoplites these are your starting soldiers and the foundation of any legion.
- Unlock Cavalry the next tier up, giving your force more punch.
- Unlock Chariots a further step that adds serious striking power.
- Unlock Warriors of the Gods the most powerful unit type available.
Taking enemy territory
Tips
Once your army is large enough, you can move on rival territories. Land you capture becomes part of your empire and adds to your tax income.
- Target a rival's territory and attack and capture it.
- After you capture a territory it generates taxes for you.
Playing with others
