Overview

Age of Warfare II is a 12v12 team strategy game where you pick a faction, choose your weapons, command troops, and fight to crush the enemy team in large-scale battles. Each server holds up to 24 players split evenly between two sides.

Getting through the tutorial

Step

In short Finishing every tutorial objective earns you multiple badges.

Skipping the tutorial gives you the Skipped badge instead of the completion ones. Work through each objective.

Watch the cutscene let it play all the way through to earn the Welcome to AoW II Tutorial badge.
Destroy the English camp demolish it to unlock the Sack the Camp badge.
Repair the fort and rebuild the gate complete it for the Rebuild the Defenses badge.
Defeat Brutus's army finishing it earns you the Defeat Brutus badge.
Complete everything clearing all tutorial objectives awards the Armed and Ready badge.

Building your army and forward base

Check

In short Recruiting 20 warriors and placing an outpost are core activities reflected directly in the game's badges.

Once the tutorial is done, focus on growing your forces and pushing the front line.

Recruit 20 warriors to earn the Army Builder badge.
Build an outpost to earn the Forward Base badge.
Learn to command your troops actively the Troop Commander badge recognises this skill.

Developer-encounter badges

Summary

In short Three badges unlock automatically when you happen to share a server with one of the game's original developers.

You cannot force these badges — they depend entirely on a developer joining your server.

Should I skip the tutorial?

Skipping is allowed, but it gives you the Skipped badge and locks you out of every other tutorial badge, including Armed and Ready.

How many players are in each match?

Each server holds up to 24 players divided into two teams of 12.

How do I get the developer-encounter badges?

The Meet Dagz, Meet Stone, and Meet Nummy badges unlock automatically when you are in the same server as the respective developer. There is no way to trigger this on purpose.
