Be a Silly Seal is a Roblox game where you play as a seal, fishing, hunting, foraging, and exploring the ocean. The Hunting Update added a full combat system, two new skill trees, and a vast new area to dive. This guide covers how to get started, earn both currencies, fight fish, and work through the game's quests and minigames.

This quest sends you into an underwater lab to rescue Niko, a seal based on a real Baikal seal from Toba Aquarium in Japan. You need three keycards, a set of specific fish, and some depleted plutonium to finish it. The Orca roams freely.
Worth watching out for
Board the submarine at the Spawn dock to enter the lab.
The three keycards spawn randomly around the mapsearch every room and check back after five minutes because items respawn on that timer.
The Red Keycard opens the room where Niko is held.
Depleted plutonium glows with a green aura and causes screen static when you are closeuse those signs to locate it.
Fish only in the two safe spotsthe high platform above the main pool, or the room unlocked by the Green Keycard, where the Orca cannot reach you.
The Moray Eel can only be caught in the room the Red Keycard unlocks.
Equip Tasty Bait or Scrumptious Bait and rarity-boosting charms when going for harder fish like the Basking Shark.

Common questions
FAQ
Do I need to spend Robux to make progress?
No — liking the game and joining the group gives you 100 free Sealcoins to start with, and hunting and fishing keep earning you more. Premium doubles your daily reward Sealcoins, but every piece of content in the game is reachable without spending anything.
What should I do if the Orca kills me during the Niko quest?
Move to one of the two safe fishing spots: the high platform above the main pool, or the room behind the Green Keycard door. The Orca cannot reach either spot, so you can fish there without interruption.
What happens if I lose my save data?
Create a support ticket directly from inside the game and report the issue to the developers. The game saves automatically on a regular basis, so data loss is not a common occurrence, but the ticket system exists for exactly that situation.
How do I unlock more fish types for the angler badges?
Different zones on the map hold different fish, so explore all six areas — Spawn, Mt. Seal, Igloo Island, Volcano Island, The Lab, and Tropical Island. The Amazing Angler badge requires 15 types, and the Astounding Angler badge requires 30, so you will need to visit every zone.
