About

Overview

Survive & Tame Dinos drops you into a prehistoric world overrun by zombies, where your goal is to last as many in-game days as possible alongside dinosaurs — and up to 24 other players. This guide covers how runs work, how to earn diamonds through badges, and how to make sure you actually collect your rewards.

How a run works

Summary
In short Every run is independent, so your day count resets if you die or leave — make each run count.

The game tracks two things at once: how many days you survive in a single run, and how many zombies you kill. Survival badges require you to hit their day target inside one continuous run, so dying on day 49 means starting back at day 1. Up to 25 players can share the same world, which the game explicitly encourages — the description calls out that nobody should face the apocalypse alone.

  • Run the stretch of play from the moment you start until you die or quit; day count resets when a run ends
  • Days survived the main badge target; must be reached within a single run, not spread across several
  • Co-op up to 25 players in one world

Survival badge milestones and their diamond rewards

Table
In short Diamond rewards jump sharply at day 50, so pushing past that threshold is the single most efficient early goal.

Each badge is earned the moment you reach that day in a single run, but you must open the Achievements menu to collect the diamonds — they are not added automatically. Notice how the reward per badge triples once you cross day 50.

Collecting your diamonds from the Achievements menu

Step
In short Badges do not pay out automatically — you have to claim them yourself every time.

Reaching a milestone unlocks the badge, but the diamonds sit unclaimed until you act.

  1. Reach the target hit the required day count in a single run, or accumulate the zombie kill total
  2. Open the Achievements menu find it in the in-game interface
  3. Claim each badge press the reward button on every unlocked badge

Common questions

FAQ

Do I collect diamonds automatically when I unlock a badge?

No — unlocking a badge just marks it as complete. You still need to open the Achievements menu and press the claim button for each badge individually. If you skip this step, the diamonds stay uncollected.

Does my day count carry over if I start a new run?

No. Every survival badge description specifies that you must reach its day target within a single run. Dying or leaving resets your day counter to zero, so try to make each run last as long as possible.

At what point do survival badge rewards get significantly better?

Day 50 is the sharpest jump — rewards go from 5 diamonds per badge to 15. They rise again at day 90 to 25 diamonds, and the day-1000 badge pays 150 diamonds, the highest reward in the game.
