The Nature element — how to unlock it and what it does

Summary

Nature is a secret element you get by defeating the Boss in the maze. It has three ranged abilities, two melee abilities, and one protective ability across its first phase. The defining feature is a second phase called Gaia's Covenant: when your Ultimate Gauge hits 70 — charged by dealing damage or taking hits — you transform into Gaia with 500 health points. There is no health regeneration in either phase, so the health you carry into the transformation is the health you start with.

  • Phase 1 LBM (Vine Stuff) shoots 7 spikes, each hitting for roughly 7 damage, cooldown roughly 4 seconds.
  • Phase 1 Q (Vine Slam) grabs the nearest player and slams them for 44 damage, cooldown 24 seconds.
  • Phase 1 E (Vine Shield) activates a damage-blocking shield, cooldown and duration 45 seconds.
  • Phase 1 LBM alt (Summon Thorns) places two flower turrets each dealing around 40 damage, cooldown 25 seconds.
  • Phase 1 Q alt (Sunflower Summon) deploys a sunflower that fires a laser for 4–5 seconds, cooldown 20 seconds.
  • Phase 1 E alt (Flower Surf) launches you in the camera direction for about 3 seconds, cooldown 12 seconds.
