About

Overview

Fire Response: Kenterbury puts you in the boots of a firefighter in a British city that skimps on fire safety — which means plenty of callouts to handle. You work your way up through nine ranks by earning XP, and every rank unlocks new vehicles.

How the rank system works

Summary
In short Every rank has an XP threshold, and hitting it unlocks both the rank title and new vehicles.

The Kenterbury Fire Brigade has nine ranks, starting at Firefighter and ending at Commissioner. You reach each one by accumulating a total XP amount, and each rank comes with different vehicles you can use. The gap between ranks grows sharply as you climb.

  • Firefighter 2,000 XP
  • Leading Firefighter 10,000 XP
  • Sub-Officer 40,000 XP
  • Station Commander 100,000 XP
  • Borough Commander 175,000 XP
  • Deputy Assistant Commander 250,000 XP
  • Assistant Commissioner 400,000 XP
  • Deputy Commissioner 650,000 XP
  • Commissioner 800,000 XP

Getting started as a new recruit

Step
In short Your first goal is 2,000 XP, and every step after that follows the same basic loop.

The core loop never changes: a callout appears, you respond to it, and you earn XP. Everything else — rank titles, vehicles, long-term progress — flows from repeating that loop.

  1. Join the game You enter as a member of the Kenterbury Fire Brigade.
  2. Respond to callouts Each callout you answer adds XP to your total.
  3. Hit 2,000 XP This earns you the Firefighter rank and is your first concrete milestone.
  4. After each rank-up, new vehicles unlock for you.

The long climb to Commissioner

Tips
In short Consistent callout participation is the only reliable way to close the gap between the higher ranks.

The XP jumps between the top ranks are large. The jump from Station Commander to Borough Commander is 75,000 XP, and reaching Commissioner requires 800,000 XP total.

Tips worth knowing
  • Up to 20 players share a server.
  • When the game shuts down, that means an update just dropped; rejoin to get the latest version.
  • Commissioner at 800,000 XP is the top of the ladder.
