SCP
The core loop: encounter, survive, escape, repeat
StepThe game drops you into a world full of anomalies. Your job is to find SCPs, survive contact with them, and escape. Each successful escape levels your character up, making future runs more manageable. New SCPs, challenges, and secrets also unlock every 100 likes the game receives, so the pool of things you face keeps expanding.
- Find SCPs explore the environment and locate anomalies.
- Encounter the anomaly getting close enough triggers the encounter, which is where the real danger begins.
- Battle or evade some SCPs require you to fight; others can be evaded.
- Escape get out of the situation alive to complete the loop and earn your level-up reward.
- Repeat each new run can bring different SCPs and harder challenges as the like count climbs.
SCP-002: the most dangerous room in the game
WarnSCP-002 looks like a huge mass of flesh with an iron hatch built into its side. DNA evidence shows that people who enter and vanish are converted into those objects. On top of that, simply being near SCP-002 distorts your perception and messes with your judgment. It also becomes more active when power is cut, so a darkened environment makes it even more dangerous.
How SCP object classes affect your approach
TableEvery SCP is assigned a containment class that describes how difficult it is to keep under control. Knowing the class lets you calibrate your caution.
| Safe | relatively easy to contain; controlled interaction is possible without extreme risk. |
| Euclid | harder to contain and less predictable. |
| Keter | extremely difficult to contain and capable of causing widespread harm. |
| Neutralized | no longer anomalous; the threat has been eliminated or the effect has stopped. |
| Pending | not yet assigned a final class; behavior is still being studied. |
