Two modes and how they work

Table

In short Roleplay is open-ended exploration, while Prop Hunt is a competitive round-based game — they feel completely different, so try both.

Choosing a mode is the first decision you make. Roleplay lets you pick a character and move freely around the map with no win condition. Prop Hunt splits players into two sides and runs until one side wins the round.

In short Hitting each Prop Hunt location early gives you weapons, taunts, and a sense of the map.

The Prop Hunt map contains several named spots, each serving a different purpose.

Freddy's Gun Shop buy a weapon here; you also earn a badge the first time you make a purchase
Chica's Scoreboard visit the scoreboard and earn a badge for visiting
Foxy's Coin Exchange Cove exchange coins here; the visit itself unlocks a badge
Sparky's Taunt Tent buy a taunt; your first purchase earns another badge
Lobby parkour run the parkour course in the lobby all the way to the end for its own badge

Badges worth chasing

Tips

In short Most badges come naturally from playing normally, but a few need deliberate effort — especially the six secret props.

The game has 13 official badges. Some drop just from showing up; others require you to win or find hidden content.

Tips worth knowing

Win one round as a Hunter in Prop Hunt to earn the hunter badge
Win one round as a Prop in Prop Hunt to earn the prop badge
Become all six secret props at least once to unlock the secret-prop badge — these are separate from ordinary props
Log in during October to collect the Halloween event badge; it refreshes every year
Log in during December to collect the Winter event badge; it also refreshes every year
The developer badge is handed out manually by the Gator Games team, so you cannot grind for it

Seasonal events

In short Both seasonal badges are free — just log in during the right month and they are yours.

The game runs two recurring events tied to calendar months. You do not need to complete any task beyond joining the server.

Halloween badge join any time in October (Eastern Time)
Winter badge join any time in December (Eastern Time)
Both events are valid every year, so you can pick them up again each time the month rolls around

Glossary

Animatronic: One of the robotic animal characters from the FNAF series, playable as a role in Roleplay mode.
Nightguard: The security-guard role in Roleplay, drawn from the FNAF series.
Prop Hunt: A competitive game mode where one team disguises itself as objects and the other team tries to find them all.
Prop: A player on the hiding side of Prop Hunt, disguised as an in-game object.
Hunter: A player on the seeking side of Prop Hunt, tasked with finding every hidden prop.
Secret Prop: One of six special prop disguises in Prop Hunt; collecting all six earns a dedicated badge.
Taunt: A purchased emote-style action available from Sparky's Taunt Tent in Prop Hunt.

FAQ

How do I get the seasonal event badges?

Just join the game during October for the Halloween badge or during December for the Winter badge — no extra steps needed. Both badges are available every year, so you can earn them again each October and December.

What are secret props and how do I find them?

Secret props are six special disguises that exist separately from the ordinary prop options in Prop Hunt. You need to become each of the six at least once to unlock the Broken Like Me badge.
