About

Overview

SUMMIT is a multiplayer co-op climbing game where up to four players wash ashore and fight their way up through five biomes to reach the volcanic peak. Along the way you gather loot from suitcases, fill your backpack, help teammates over obstacles, and unlock classes with shards. This guide covers the biome order, co-op mechanics, challenge modes, and the badges that track your progress.

01

The five biomes and their order

Step
In short Each biome is harder than the last, and clearing one earns you a badge that proves you made it.

Every summit run moves through the same five biomes in a fixed sequence, from a coastal beach all the way to a volcanic forge.

  1. The Beach the starting zone; clear it to earn The Beach badge.
  2. The Rainforest a dense jungle section; completing it earns The Rainforest badge.
  3. The Arctic frozen tundra; earn The Arctic badge here.
  4. The Gates a molten lava biome; The Gates badge awaits at the end.
  5. The Forge the volcanic final biome; finishing it earns The Forge badge and completes your run.

Starting out

Check
In short Your first run unlocks a badge automatically, so just jump in and start ticking off early goals.

Several badges are designed to be picked up in the first few runs, making them good targets to chase while you are still learning the climb.

  • Start any summit run to earn the First Of Many badge the moment you begin.
  • Play alongside at least one other player to unlock the Team Up badge.
  • Open 15 suitcases in a single summit run to earn the Scavenger badge.
  • Use bandages or medkits to heal teammates for a combined 200 damage in one run to earn the First Aid badge.
03

Co-op mechanics and team badges

Tips
In short Playing with others opens up badges you cannot get solo.

SUMMIT is built around helping each other. Physically giving a teammate a hand to pull them up a ledge is a core mechanic. Several badges are tied directly to co-op actions.

Tips worth knowing
  • Pull stuck teammates up cliffs by offering them a hand — it is one of the game's central features.
  • Win a run alongside Pal Pal to earn the True Friendship badge.
  • Use the cursed skull on a friend to earn the Traitor badge.
  • The Curiosity badge has a deliberately mysterious description — explore and see what you find.
04

Challenge modes

Table
In short Speed Run and Hardcore modes add serious pressure once you know the route.

Both challenge modes give you something harder to aim at once you can clear the five biomes.

Speed Run modefinish an entire summit in under 15 minutes to earn the Speed Runner badge.
Hardcore modecomplete a summit under its stricter conditions to earn the Hardcore badge.
05

Shards, classes, and cosmetics

Summary
In short Shards are earned during your climbs and spent to unlock classes and cosmetics.

Shards are earned during your climbs and spent to unlock classes. Classes are described as game-changing. Cosmetics let you customise your character's look. Badges fill out your sash as you collect them.

  • Shards the currency you earn on climbs, used to unlock classes and cosmetics.
  • Classes unlocked with shards; each one changes how you play the climb.
