Transformation roadmap
TipsThere is a clear progression ladder running from your base form to forms that go beyond Ultra Instinct. Four additional forms — Beast, LSSJ, Ultra Ego, and the Destroyer Form — sit on separate unlock paths outside the main chain.
- Reach a Power Level of 9000 first — it is the earliest major checkpoint the game sets.
- Work toward Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan 3, as the early-to-mid game transformation route.
- Super Saiyan God introduces divine Ki, which gates the higher forms above it.
- Ultra Instinct and then Mastered Ultra Instinct are the top targets on the main chain.
- Reaching Maximum Status is a milestone that marks readiness for the next step beyond it.
- Beast, LSSJ, Ultra Ego, and the Destroyer Form are unlocked separately from the main chain.
Mastery — the step most players skip
CheckEvery technique and transformation you unlock has a mastery level that rises the more you use it. Use the questions below as a regular self-check.
- Have you used your newest transformation in enough fights to build mastery, not just unlocked it?
- Are you practicing newly learned techniques in combat rather than ignoring them after you get them?
- Have you progressed far enough with Super Saiyan God to start working toward divine-Ki-gated forms?
- Have you hit Maximum Status, which signals that you are ready to push past your current ceiling?
Free-to-play vs. Premium
TableThe only difference between free and Premium play is the experience rate. Every boss, quest, transformation, and tournament is open to everyone.
| Free players | earn experience through quests and boss fights at the standard rate |
| Premium players | receive a 10% EXP bonus on top of the standard rate |
| All transformations | unlockable on both paths through normal play |
| All content | quests, bosses, and Tournament of Power are available without spending anything |

Common questions
FAQWhat should I do first when I start the game?
Press M to open the menu and pick a quest. Finishing quests gives you money and skill experience at the same time. Use what you earn to buy equipment from the shop and then take on a boss for extra Zeni.
How do I unlock transformations faster?
Run quests and boss fights in a steady loop to build your Power Level and earn money for shop upgrades. Once you unlock a transformation, keep using it in fights to raise its mastery level. Divine Ki forms like Ultra Instinct only open up after you have progressed through Super Saiyan God.
What are Beast, LSSJ, Ultra Ego, and the Destroyer Form?
These four are alternative transformations that sit outside the main Super Saiyan chain, unlocked through their own separate conditions rather than by following the Super Saiyan to Ultra Instinct path.
Do I need Premium to reach end-game content?
No — every transformation and every mode in the game is available to free players. Premium adds a 10% EXP bonus that makes leveling faster, but it does not lock anything away.
