Spelling Bee challenges you to listen to a word read aloud and type it correctly, working your way from Grade 1 all the way up to Grade 12. The game holds 1,000 words in total, starting simple and getting seriously hard by the end. This guide covers how to get started, how to handle each stretch of grades, the Spring Easter egg event, and what to do when sound or typing stops working.
Every round works the same way: a word is read aloud, and you type the spelling using your keyboard. Getting the setup right before your first attempt saves a lot of frustration.
The next survey is being prepared.
There are twelve grades in total. The difficulty climbs steadily, and the game itself warns that later stages get very difficult.
| Grades 5–8 | words grow longer and pronunciations become harder to translate directly into letters. |
| Grades 9–12 | complex spellings and tricky pronunciations make up most of this stretch. |
| Repeating a grade | going through the same grade more than once helps with learning the patterns of words you keep missing. |

The Spring update added a seasonal event on top of the main spelling game.
Because this game is entirely audio-driven, broken sound means you cannot play at all. Typing issues are the second most common problem, especially on non-English keyboard setups.
All 1,000 words across all twelve grades are available without spending anything. The Spring Easter egg event is also open to everyone at no cost.
