Every action in Omniverse maps to a single key.

Sprint with LCTRL to close distance or escape a tough fight.
Press F to throw a basic punch at nearby enemies.
Use Q, E, R, T, and Y during a transformation to fire that alien's skill attacks.
Press C to transform into an alien, or to switch to a different one mid-fight.
Press B to unleash the current alien's Ultimate move.
Press V to snap back to the alien you used just before useful for quick swaps.
Scroll through your playlist with X and Z to pick which alien you want next.

How to master an alien and unlock its Ultimate form

Step

In short Fill an alien's master gauge through quests and battles, and its Ultimate form unlocks automatically.

Each alien has its own master gauge. You fill it by using that alien in quests and battles. Once the gauge is full, the Ultimate form for that alien becomes available. The whole game is built around repeating this cycle across all 60-plus aliens in your playlist.

Pick an alien use X or Z to scroll your playlist and choose one to work on.
Fight with it take on quests and battles while transformed into that alien to build its master gauge.
Reach the Ultimate when the gauge fills completely, the alien's Ultimate form unlocks.
Move to the next one select a fresh alien from your playlist and repeat the process.
Keep going unlocking every alien's Ultimate form across the full roster is the long-term goal.

Rank and why it matters

Rank works as the game's progression measure. Every fight nudges it upward, and completing quests pushes it up more sharply. Higher rank opens tougher challenges and stronger enemies to face.

Glossary

Alien: One of 60-plus transformable characters in the game, each with its own skill attacks and Ultimate move.
Master gauge: A per-alien progress bar that fills as you use that alien in quests and battles; filling it unlocks the Ultimate form.
Ultimate form: The most powerful state of an alien, unlocked once its master gauge is completely full.
Quest: An in-game mission that rewards master gauge progress and rank experience when completed.
Skill attack: A special move tied to the alien you are currently transformed into, fired with Q, E, R, T, or Y.
Ultimate (move): The strongest attack each alien has, triggered with B.
QuickChange: The V key function that instantly switches you back to the alien you used just before the current one.
Rank: A progression level that rises through battles and quests and unlocks harder content as it increases.
Playlist: The roster of aliens available to you, scrolled with X and Z.

Switch to a different alien whose skills match that enemy better and try again.

How do I get more aliens to use?

Choose an alien from your playlist with X or Z, then fight and complete quests while transformed into it. Once its master gauge fills, that alien is fully unlocked and its Ultimate form is yours to use.
