The core loop

In short
Every run follows the same four-step cycle, so learning it early makes everything else click.
The game revolves around a tight loop that repeats every run. You break blocks, grab what falls, cash it in, and reinvest.
- Break a lucky block swing your pickaxe at any lucky block to make brains and money drop out.
- Collect the brains pick up the brains before they despawn; these are your main resource.
- Return to your plot bring the brains back to your plot, where they convert into coins.
- Upgrade your pickaxe spend those coins on pickaxe upgrades so you can smash blocks faster next time.

Keeping Sammy at a distance while still breaking blocks is the skill that separates fast runs from failed ones.
Sammy actively chases you throughout every run. Standing still in one spot for too long makes you an easy target. The play area is wide enough to work around him if you keep moving.
Tips worth knowing
- Check Sammy's position constantly — do not get so focused on breaking blocks that you lose track of where he is.
- Plan your escape route before you need it, not after Sammy is already close.
- Favor areas with lots of blocks so you can keep smashing while naturally staying mobile.

Mutations are rarer versions of the brains that fall from lucky blocks, and they pay out significantly more coins.
Not every brain that drops from a lucky block is equal. Some are rare mutations that carry a higher value than ordinary brains. Because luck controls what drops, you cannot force a mutation to appear — but you can make sure you never miss one.
- Recognize that a mutation has dropped and do not walk past it on your way to a normal brain.
- Keep playing across multiple runs the more lucky blocks you break overall, the more chances you get for a mutation to appear.

The rebirth system
