Choosing your first dinosaur
TableThree dinosaurs are named in the game's own materials, each suited to a different approach. T. rex works best for players who want to hunt alone and rely on raw power. Velociraptor is built around hunting with a group, so it rewards teamwork. Triceratops suits players who prefer a defensive role, protecting a herd rather than chasing down prey.
| T. rex | solo hunting, high power, no group needed |
| Velociraptor | pack hunter, strongest when playing with others |
| Triceratops | defensive, best for herd protection and group management |
Surviving your first session
StepThe open world has areas of different danger levels. Keeping your health, hunger, and thirst gauges topped up is always the job.
- Hunt small prey first smaller creatures are easier kills and give you a steady food source.
- Drink water regularly thirst runs down alongside hunger, so never ignore it.
- Pull back when low if your health drops, retreat to a safe area before searching for food or water.
- Track the day and night surviving a full in-game day and a full in-game night are both goals the game tracks.
Hazards beyond other dinosaurs
WarnCarnivores and omnivores are not the only threats. The game includes thunderstorms that can strike you with lightning, steaming geysers hidden around the map, and meteors that fall from the sky. The game awards badges for surviving them or being hit by them.
Growing through long-term survival
CheckThe game measures your total survival time in hours and rewards milestones at 1 hour, 5 hours, 25 hours, 100 hours, and 350 hours. Alongside that, the game tracks whether you have visited every area of the map. Joining a large group also counts as a tracked milestone.
- Survival milestones are tracked at 1, 5, 25, 100, and 350 hours.
- Visit every named area of the map at least once to complete the exploration goal.
- Join or form a group of at least 15 players to hit the Full House milestone.
- Getting onto the leaderboard is also a tracked achievement.
Earning coins faster
TipsCoins are the in-game currency. The bonuses stack with each other.
- Liking the game and joining the official Roblox group gives you 500 coins and a 10% coin multiplier at no cost.
- Roblox Plus subscribers earn 15% more coins on top of any other multipliers already active.
- Because multipliers stack, having both bonuses active at the same time gives a bigger combined boost than either one alone.
