Late Night Ramen — Your first shift
About
OverviewLate Night Ramen is a horror game where you work the night shift at a ramen shop that never closes, and your job is to tell normal customers apart from dangerous anomalies. Serve the right ones, turn away the wrong ones, and follow the rules — or your shift ends badly. This guide covers how to read customers, how to spend your earnings, and how to survive to the Survived Ending.

Your first shift
StepEvery shift drops you behind the counter of a 24/7 ramen shop. Customers approach one at a time, and you decide how to handle each one.
- Greet the first customer take their order and serve them ramen to earn your first income and unlock the First Of Many badge.
- Serve normal customers complete their order and collect the income before the next customer arrives.
- Close the window on anomalies if something feels wrong, shut the window instead of serving.
- Watch your mistake count too many wrong calls ends the shift and sends you to the Dead Ending.
- Use Revive or Retry if you die dying mid-shift is not necessarily the end; both options let you keep going.
Telling customers apart
TipsNormal customers look ordinary and hold a regular conversation. Anomalies break that pattern in some way.
- Check appearance first — an unnatural body shape, colour, or proportion is an early warning sign.
- Listen to what they ask for — a request that has nothing to do with ramen is a red flag.
- Read every message carefully — text that sounds threatening or tells you to break the rules points to an anomaly.
- Do not serve an anomaly — treating one like a normal customer counts as a mistake and adds to your penalty total.
Mistakes and what they cost you
WarnThere are two ways to make a mistake: turning away a normal customer, or serving an anomaly. Both add to the same penalty count. Let that count climb too high and the shift is forcibly ended with a Dead Ending.
Earning money and the Shift Shop
SummaryEvery normal customer you serve correctly pays you. That money carries over to the Shift Shop, where you can spend it on boosts. You do not have to spend anything to finish a shift.

- Where to spend it the Shift Shop
- What to buy boosts
- Spending required none; boosts are optional, not mandatory

Common questions
FAQCan I play alone?
Yes — the game supports one to four players, so solo is a valid choice.
Do I need to spend real money?
No. The Shift Shop runs entirely on money you earn in-game by serving customers. Boosts from the shop are optional.
What happens if I die during a shift?
You are given the option to Revive or Retry, so dying does not automatically force you back to the beginning.
