Your role at the start of a round

Summary

In short The game assigns you a role automatically, and each role has a completely different goal.

When a round begins, the game places you on either the hider team or the seeker team. You do not choose — the assignment is automatic. Hiders and seekers have opposing objectives, so what counts as winning looks totally different depending on which side you land on.
