Crawling is how you move through the narrow, twisting passages that connect most areas. Every device has a different button, so check yours before your first expedition.

Routes and camps
Summary
Camps are checkpoints that reward you with a badge when you find them. The deepest point in the whole game is Camp 4.
- Standard Route (Route 1) has its own Camp 1
- Standard Route (Route 2) has a second Camp 1, then Camp 2 and Camp 3 further in
- Difficult Route has Camp 1 and Camp 2
- Camp 4 the deepest camp
Hidden objects and secret badges
Check
Beyond discovering named caves and camps, the cave system hides a few specific objects. Finding each one unlocks its own badge.
- A pair of glasses somewhere in the caves; finding them unlocks the Glasses! badge.
- A trapped criminal track them down to earn the Find the Criminal! badge.
- An underwater boat submerged somewhere in the cave system; discovering it unlocks the Underwater Boat badge.

- A checkpoint located along a route that awards a badge the moment you find it.
