Getting started — from the Bus to your first kill

Step

  1. Ride the Bus pick your drop point while the bus crosses the map, then jump.
  2. Glide down your umbrella slows your descent, so steer toward a chest or a quiet landing spot.
  3. Open a chest find a chest on the map and use a Key to open it for loot.
  4. Get into a fight killing enemies is the main way to earn XP.
  5. Go for headshots headshot kills give bonus XP on top of the base kill reward.

Prestige and long-term progression

Summary

  • Top rank Unreal is the eighteenth and final rank.
  • Prestige trigger only unlocks after reaching Unreal.

Common questions

FAQ

What should I do in my very first match?

Drop from the Battle Bus, glide to a spot with a nearby chest, and open it with a Key to grab starting gear. Then push toward other players — kills are your main XP source.

My rank has stopped climbing. How do I speed it up?

Switch your focus to headshots and try to chain kills together for streak bonuses, since both pay more XP than plain kills. Check the leaderboard for bounty targets too — hunting one successfully gives a larger reward than a regular elimination.

Do Weapon Wraps make me stronger?

No — Wraps only change how your weapons look. You can use any weapon at full effectiveness regardless of whether it has a Wrap applied.

Is there a reason to reach Unreal rank beyond the prestige of it?

Yes. Reaching Unreal unlocks the Prestige system, which gives you a permanent XP boost when you activate it. That boost applies to every match you play from then on.
