SCHOOL TIME — How a run works
About
OverviewSCHOOL TIME [HORROR] is a co-op horror escape game set inside a school where angry teachers patrol the halls. You collect items scattered across the building and work toward escaping — or uncovering the truth behind what is happening. This guide covers how the game works, what to do when a teacher spots you, and how to reach both endings.

How a run works
StepThe school is split into multiple rooms — classrooms, a gym, a library, a nurse's office, a science lab, an auditorium, an art room, and more. Your job is to move through them, grab the items the game asks you to return, and get out. Teachers patrol while you work, so you are always balancing speed against caution.
- Split the school if you are playing with others, each person takes a different section so you cover ground faster.
- Return items to their locations each item belongs to a specific spot, such as books to the library or flasks to the science lab.
When a teacher catches you
TipsTeachers can appear suddenly, so knowing your options before it happens matters. Being caught does not automatically end your run, but your next move has to be fast.
- Check for hiding spots the moment you hear or see a teacher.
- Put distance between you and the teacher if you are in an open space with no cover nearby.
The two endings
TableReaching an ending requires more than just surviving — you have to push through to a conclusion. Both endings have a hardcore variant that is harder to achieve.
| Investigator Ending | defeat Mr. Jenkins and learn the truth about Mrs. Klock. |
| Escapee Ending | escape the endless halls while a giant Mrs. Klock pursues you. |
| Investigator Ending (Hardcore) | defeat Mr. Jenkins under hardcore mode conditions. |
| Escapee Ending (Hardcore) | escape Giant Mrs. Klock under hardcore mode conditions. |
Side tasks worth completing
CheckBeyond escaping, the game hides small tasks across the building. Each one involves finding misplaced items and returning them to the right room.
- Deliver Mr. Sumner's lesson notes to his desk.
- Fold every towel in the Nurse's Office.
- Return all stray balls to the gym bin.
- Bring Mr. Allegro's lost sheet music back to the Auditorium.
- Return lost flasks and beakers to the Science Lab.
- Return every overdue book to the library, the paint buckets to the art room upstairs, and Señora Morales' Spanish flashcards also found upstairs.
Playing with friends
TipsThe game is designed to be played with others, though solo runs are possible.
- When a teacher locks onto one player, the others can keep collecting without stopping.
- Playing with people you know makes it easier to coordinate, but the game works with random players too.
