Step
Each round of play follows the same rhythm. Once you have cash, you can strengthen your straw or unlock new abilities, which makes each future cycle faster.
- Sip use your straw to drink lake water until your belly is full.
- Pour empty your belly into the ice machine to turn the water into cash.
- Upgrade spend that cash on a better straw or skill-tree nodes to drink faster next time.
- Repeat every cycle drops the water level a little lower, slowly exposing what is hidden underneath.
Checkpoints on the way to the bottom

- Shipwreck the first major depth landmark you will pass through.
- Cavern deeper than the Shipwreck and the next target after it.
- Mineshaft the checkpoint that follows the Cavern.
- Molten a deeper, hotter zone below the Mineshaft.
- Lost City further down still, past the Molten area.
- The Abyss the deepest checkpoint before the very bottom where the golden keys are buried.
Pets, eggs, and the skill tree
Tips
Pets boost the amount you collect with every sip, so even a basic pet speeds up the loop. The skill tree compounds on top of that.
- Hatch eggs to get pets — each pet boosts how much water you collect per sip.
- Unlocking every node in the skill tree earns the Fully Trained badge.
Hidden chests and the golden keys
Check
As the water drops, keep your eyes open for chests tucked into the newly revealed areas. The keys only become reachable once you have drunk your way deep enough.
- Open your first 10 chests to earn the Lucky Find badge.
- Keep searching as the water falls 100 chests unlocks Sunken Riches and 1,000 unlocks Bottomless Treasure.
- Drink all the way down through every checkpoint to reach the keys buried at the bottom.
- Collecting the golden keys triggers the Find My Keys badge, which is the game's win condition.
- After clearing the first lake you can unlock a new island with its own lake and its own secrets.
