About

Overview

Survive the Mines is a Roblox obstacle course where up to 25 players race through a minefield, dodge explosions, and try to reach the end. This guide covers how movement and blasts work, how to chase every badge, and how to mess with — or avoid — the other players in your server.

How a round works

Step
In short Reaching the end of the course is the one condition for winning, and getting blown up never ends your run.

When the round begins, you spawn on a course packed with mines. Your only goal is to reach the far end. Being caught in an explosion knocks you back or upward but does not eliminate you, so you can keep pushing forward no matter how many times you get hit.

  1. Watch the blasts observe where mines go off before you commit to a path through a dangerous stretch.
  2. Reach the end cross the final point of the course to win and earn the Win badge.

Using explosions to move faster

Tips
In short A blast that would slow you down can actually launch you further than a normal jump if you time it right.

The shockwave from a mine pushes nearby players upward and outward. Chaining several blasts in a row also works toward the bomb-activation badges.

Tips worth knowing
  • Jump just as a mine goes off beneath or beside you to get extra height from the shockwave.
  • String multiple explosions together to cross a long gap in one fluid motion.
03

Playing with and against other people

Tips
In short With up to 25 players in one server, steering others into mines — and dodging the same yourself — is a huge part of the fun.

The game actively encourages players to troll each other. You can nudge someone toward a mine or time an explosion to catch a rival off guard.

Tips worth knowing
  • Body-check other players toward mine clusters to send them flying.
  • Keep an eye behind you — other players will try the same tricks on you.
04

Getting unstuck on a tough section

Check
In short Watching a stretch a few times before crossing it is faster than charging through blindly over and over.

When one part of the course keeps knocking you back, study the mine timing, then move with a plan.

  • Count the gap between explosions on the mine that is stopping you there is a safe window to cross.
  • Remember that getting blown up keeps you in the game, so use failed attempts to map the hazards rather than treating them as pure loss.

Common questions

FAQ

Does landing on a mine kill you?

No. Explosions knock you back or into the air, but you stay in the round and can keep moving. The only way to finish is to reach the far end of the course.

How do I earn the Canon Ball badge?

The badge is tied to a luck-based element in the game, so just interact with the cannonball when you see it and let chance do the rest.
