Where beginners should start

01 Your first characters Paper and Baldi are the free starting characters.
02 How survivor abilities work Each survivor's abilities have cooldowns that lock them out for several seconds after use.
03 Survivor passives and special traits Some survivors have always-on passives that change how they play, independent of any ability cooldown.
04 Playing as a killer Killers win by managing ability cooldowns and using each character's kit at the right moment.
