About

Overview

Facility of Redemption [V3+] is a survival game set inside a mysterious facility where you either fight as a human to hold back a Goobeast outbreak, or become a Goobeast yourself and help bring humanity down. This guide covers how to get started as a human, where to find weapons and infection items, how special transformations work, and what the rules are.

Getting started as a human

Step
In short Picking up a proper weapon in the first moments of a round makes you much more useful to your team.

Every player spawns on the human side and already has a punch available, but its damage is low enough that relying on it alone is a bad idea.

  1. Punch immediately you have it from the moment you spawn, so use it if a Goobeast rushes you before you find anything better.
  2. Head to the Main Lobby a Bat spawns there and is the easiest weapon to reach right after spawning.
  3. Check Crystal Containment Spawn a second Bat location if the Main Lobby one is already taken.
  4. Visit the Cafeteria a Frying Pan sits on top of the kitchen stoves and has one of the fastest cooldowns of any weapon in the game.
  5. Fight in groups punching or swinging alongside several other humans is far more effective than attacking a Goobeast alone.
  6. Buy from the Showork Shop if you have coins, the Bat costs 10 coins there, or 15 at the Crystal Containment Spawn.

Infection items and where to find them

Table
In short Each infection item sits in a specific spot on the map, and using one transforms you into the matching Goobeast.

Picking up and using any of these items turns your human character into the Goobeast listed. Finding and using all of them earns the Collector of GooBeasts badge.

Special transformations without items

Tips
In short Some Goobeasts are triggered by the environment rather than by picking up an item, so knowing where hazards sit matters whether you want to transform or want to avoid it.

Several Goobeasts require you to be at a specific place when your HP drops to zero, or to get bitten by a trap while already low on health.

Tips worth knowing
  • Lose all your HP while standing on the dark blue shadow in the Pool Facilities to become Abys (Squid Shark).
  • During the Abyssal event, lose all your HP while standing on a black puddle — found in the Right Wing, Left Wing, Storage Facility, Cross Section, Pool Facilities, Outside Area, and Containment — to become Abyssal Nyko.
  • During the Abyssal event, step into the dark blue shadow in the Pool Facilities to become Abyssal Squid Shark.
  • Get bitten by one of the hanging ceiling spiders while at 60 HP or under to become Arachné; spider traps appear in the Main Hallway, Crystal Cave staircase, Laboratory, and Offices.

Weapons compared

Table
In short The Bat is the most accessible weapon for most players, while the Frying Pan rewards aggressive close-range play thanks to its short cooldown.

All three weapons below are available to humans. Punch is always with you, but neither Bat nor Frying Pan take long to reach if you know where to look.

Punchalways available, very low damage, best used only to fill gaps between swings of another weapon
Bat32–35 damage, 50-hit durability, medium range, 2.7-second cooldown; costs 10 coins at the Showork Shop or found free in the Main Lobby
Frying Panaround 30–36 damage, 24-hit durability, short range, roughly 1.4-second cooldown; found free in the Cafeteria on the kitchen stoves

The ??? NPC in the Test Lab

Tips
In short Talking to ??? gives you background on the facility's story.

A character simply called ??? stands in the Test Lab. Walking up and interacting with them triggers a short conversation that hints at why the facility is in the state it is.

Tips worth knowing
  • Location — Test Lab
  • What they say — that someone called you into the facility, and that you should leave before it's too late
06

Rules and behaviour

Warn
In short Breaking the rules can earn you a permanent ban, so read them before you play.

The game enforces a clear set of rules. Violations are taken seriously, with the harshest offences resulting in a permanent account ban from the game.

Worth watching out for
Using exploits or cheat tools results in a permanent ban.
Toxic, inappropriate, or weird behaviour is not allowed, and neither is bypassing the chat filter or spamming.
W+S (pressing forward and back at the same time), Tbagging, and Bodydancing are all prohibited.
Do not share your personal information in chat or anywhere else in the game.

Common questions

FAQ

Do I have to choose a side at the start?

Everyone spawns as a human. You become a Goobeast by using an infection item, stepping into a hazard zone at zero HP, or meeting another specific trigger.

Where is the easiest weapon to grab right away?

The Bat in the Main Lobby is the most straightforward pick. If that one is gone, check the Crystal Containment Spawn for a second one, or head to the Cafeteria for the Frying Pan on the kitchen stoves.

How do I unlock the Collector of GooBeasts badge?

You need to collect every infection item in the game. They are scattered across areas including the Cafeteria, Library, Office Room, Cell Block C, and the Destroyed Room.

How do I avoid becoming a Goobeast if I want to stay human?

Do not pick up or use any infection items. Avoid standing on dark shadows in the Pool Facilities or black puddles anywhere on the map when your health is low. Keep your HP above 60 whenever you walk through areas with ceiling spider traps, such as the Main Hallway or Offices.
