Sell Lemons is an idle tycoon game by BloxByte Games where you start with a single $1 lemon stand and work your way up through eight income sources, all the way to space-level operations. Your income runs at full speed even when you are offline, so every minute counts. This guide covers the fastest path through the early game, how the Ascend system works, what to do when you feel stuck, and what end-game looks like.
In shortYour first goal is to automate your lemon stand as fast as possible so the money keeps rolling in even when you walk away.
You start with $1 from your father and use it to open your lemon stand. At first you click to sell lemons, but that changes the moment you can afford a Manager. Hiring a Manager automates production and keeps your income running at full speed while you are offline. Once you are automated, shift your attention to saving for the next income source rather than pouring money back into the stand you already have.
Open the lemon standpress the button right after the game starts.
Click to selltap repeatedly in the early seconds to build up your first dollars.
Buy early upgrades like Juiceryour money-per-second climbs noticeably.
Hire a Manager for $100production becomes automatic and offline income locks in at 100%.
Target LemonDash at $17,000unlocking the next income source jumps your earnings by a large margin.
In shortAlways pour money into your newest income source first; older ones fall far behind in output per dollar spent.
Each income source you unlock earns dramatically more per cycle than the ones before it. Two events give you a chance to accelerate: Void Weather multiplies your cash production by 4.5x, and phone-text NPCs occasionally offer a 'Give me more' option that pays out more than their standard rate. Cosmetics have zero effect on income.
Tips worth knowing
During Void Weather, funnel everything you have into upgrades — 4.5x production is your best window.
Walk the map regularly to collect the yellow light pillar money bags for large one-off bonuses.
When a phone-text NPC gives you a 'Give me more' option, take it — it beats the standard payout.

In shortMost stalls come down to one of a handful of easy-to-miss issues, and the decoration gate trips up almost every new player.
If your money has stopped growing or a button you expect to see is missing, run through this list before assuming something is broken. The decoration gate — where a fence, roof, or similar item must be purchased before the next progress button appears — catches nearly everyone at least once. Money bag pickups are also easy to walk past without realising they give a significant bonus.

How Ascend works and when to do it
Warn
In shortAscend the moment the game tells you to — waiting longer gives diminishing returns because the bonus calculation is logarithmic.
When your cash reaches roughly $77 Sextillion, you can talk to Joe the Alien and Ascend. You lose your money, but you gain Investors — a permanent income multiplier that stacks multiplicatively every time you Ascend. Because Investor gains are calculated logarithmically, waiting longer adds very little.
Worth watching out for
The 'Wow, that's a lot!' message means Ascend right now, not later.
Holding out for more cash gives shrinking returnseach extra dollar past the threshold earns fewer Investors.
Each Investor adds 1% income permanently, or 2% if you have the UFO Key.
Repeating Ascends compounds quicklylater runs feel much faster than earlier ones.

End-game: Ascension and Void Evolution
Summary
In shortAfter 100 Ascends the game opens two new systems that multiply speed far beyond what normal Ascends can reach.
Reaching 100 Ascends unlocks the Ascension system, a hard reset that requires buying every tycoon button and completing the Staircase. You lose all cash and normal Investors, but receive a permanent x7.77 cash multiplier and a Forever Purchase Token. The price penalty is x3.33, so each Ascension nets a real-speed gain of roughly x2.33, and that multiplies with each additional Ascension. Separately, accumulating 501.2 Quadrillion Investors opens the Void Portal, which leads to Void Evolution and a 42x global speed multiplier per evolution.
Ascension unlock 100 Ascends completed, then buy every tycoon button and finish the Staircase.
Cash multiplier per Ascension x7.77, stacking multiplicatively each time.
Price penalty x3.33, leaving a net speed gain of roughly x2.33 per Ascension.
Forever Purchase Token first use Wormhole Development for a 42x global cash bonus.
Void Evolution trigger 501.2 Quadrillion Investors opens the Void Portal.
Speed gain per Void Evolution 42x global multiplier, earned once per evolution.

Common questions
FAQ
Does money keep coming in when I log out?
Yes — the game runs your income at 100% while you are offline.
Can I reach end-game without spending real money?
The game is designed so that spending real money is not required to reach Void Evolution or any other end-game content. Paid items are cosmetic and do not affect income.
A progress button has disappeared — what do I do?
A decoration such as a fence or roof is acting as a gate: you need to buy it before the next progress button becomes visible. Purchase the required decoration and the button will reappear.
How do I know it is time to Ascend?
The game tells you directly with a message like 'Wow, that's a lot!' — that is your cue to Ascend immediately. Because the Investor gain is logarithmic, grinding past that point returns less and less per dollar earned.
