How a round works

Summary
In short Every round is a race — survivors need to reach the exit before the killer catches them all.

Each session holds up to nine players. At the start of a round, one player takes the killer role and the rest are survivors. Survivors win by escaping the map; the killer wins by catching every survivor before anyone gets out.

  • Killer hunts survivors and tries to catch all of them before anyone escapes
  • Survivors explore the map, find the exit, and get out without being caught
  • Round end if all survivors escape, survivors win; if all are caught, the killer wins
  • Map pool five or more different maps rotate through sessions
  • Room size up to nine players share one session

02

Surviving as a survivor

Tips
In short Knowing the map layout before the killer finds you is the single biggest advantage a survivor can have.

Survivors need to move fast and think ahead.

Tips worth knowing
  • When the killer is chasing a teammate, use that window to push toward the exit.
  • Complex terrain slows the killer down, so lead pursuits through tight or winding areas.
