01 First things to do when you spawn Getting your campfire to level 2 and preparing for the Pelt Trader on Day 2 gives you the strongest possible start.
02 How the day counter works and why beds matter Rescuing kids and building beds stacks your day multiplier up to 9x, which is the single biggest way to reach Day 99 faster.
03 Rescuing the four lost kids Each child you rescue adds to your day multiplier, so push to rescue at least the first three as early as the conditions allow.
04 Avoiding and handling each monster Every monster has a clear weakness you can exploit so that night exploration stays possible even without a campfire nearby.
