Choosing your kart class
TipsThe game offers multiple kart classes, each with different top speed and handling characteristics.
- Stick with the default kart until the controls feel natural.
- When you unlock a new class, do a few practice laps before using it in a serious race.
- Every class has its own speed and steering trade-offs.
Earning miles
CheckMiles are the currency that unlocks new karts. The higher you finish in each race, the more miles you collect.
- Aim for the front of the pack every race.
- Run a track multiple times to tighten your lap times.
- Watch how faster drivers take corners.
Cornering without losing speed
WarnThe game uses realistic handling and grip. Braking far before a corner scrubs off speed you then have to rebuild on the straight.
Kart tuning and setup
TipsOnce you unlock new karts, setup and tuning options become available. These let you adjust how a kart performs rather than simply accepting its default behaviour.
- Try each setup option so you understand what it changes.
- Adjust your setup when you change tracks.
- After unlocking a new kart, do test laps with the default setup first so you have a baseline to compare against.
Racing cleanly in a full lobby
TipsWith up to ten drivers on track at once, a single collision can send you spinning off the racing line and cost you several positions.
- Contact with other drivers causes you to go off course or spin, losing time.
- Avoid unnecessary overtaking attempts in heavy traffic.
- Maintain your own pace through busy sections.
