Nine areas and what each one asks you to do
Tips
There are nine area badges in total. Some require you to solve an environmental puzzle; others ask you to make a character happy or interact with them in the right way. Finishing all nine means you have covered nearly the whole game.
- Make the wooden monster smile to clear its area.
- Solve the mystery of the wall poster to clear that area.
- Work out the puzzle in the twins' house.
- Figure out how to make the pom-pom-headed child happy.
- Solve the mystery of the nine eyes.
- Clear the bug-catching bug's puzzle.
- Work out what the lightbulb birds need.
- Solve the puzzle inside the robot factory.
- Figure out the snail's mystery in the mushroom-and-snail area.
What to try when a puzzle has you stuck
Step
Some badges require making a character happy or smile, which means the solution is about how you approach that character, not just where you walk. If you have been in an area for a while and nothing has changed, use the checklist below.
- Check your badges open the badge menu and see which areas still show as incomplete so you know exactly where to go back.
- Walk every corner of the area clothing pieces and puzzle triggers can be in spots that are easy to miss on a first pass.
