OverviewMurderthon is a 4v1 asymmetric horror game on Roblox where four survivors, called subjects, repair generators and escape a killer before they are hunted down. This guide covers both sides of the match — survivor and killer — along with controls, resource management, and how to report problems during the current alpha build.

Survivor basics — generators and escape

In short
Repairing all the generators is what unlocks the exit gate.
Your team's goal is to fix all the generators scattered around the arena and then open the exit gate. Once the generators are done, head for the exit gate to escape. The killer will try to interrupt repairs, so stay aware of where they are.
- Pallets are limited use them to break a chase, but do not waste them.
- Vents are scattered around the map use them to break chase.
- Head for the exit gate once the generators are repaired, move to the exit and get out.

Pallets and vents — two tools, two uses

Vents can be used freely, but pallets are limited, so save them for moments when you truly need to break a chase.
Survivors have two main tools for escaping the killer mid-chase. Pallets block the killer's path and buy you time, but there are only so many across the map. Vents are also scattered around and let you move through the map and shake a chase.

Every action has a keyboard binding and a controller equivalent.
- Sprint LShift on keyboard, L1 on controller.

Glossary
Glossary- Generator
- A device placed around the arena that survivors must repair to unlock the exit gate.
- Exit gate
- The way out of the arena, which only becomes accessible after survivors have repaired the generators.
- Pallet
- A limited resource survivors can drop to block the killer's path and break a chase.
- Vent
- Tunnels scattered across the map that let survivors move and escape a chase.
- Asymmetric game
- A match format where one side — the killer — plays completely differently from the other side — the survivors.
