About

Overview

Crewmates is a Roblox social-deduction game inspired by Among Us, where each round splits players into Crewmates and Alien Impostors on one of three maps. Crewmates fix the ship by completing tasks while Alien Impostors sabotage and eliminate them. This guide covers both roles, winning strategies, meetings, sabotage response, and badges worth chasing.

Two roles and how each one wins

Table
In short Knowing all the win conditions for your role before you act is the fastest way to help your team.

Every round assigns you one of two roles. Crewmates have two paths to victory, and Aliens have three, so neither side is locked into a single strategy.

Crewmateswin by finishing every player's tasks, or by voting all Aliens out through meetings
Aliens (kill route)eliminate enough Crewmates to put the crew at a disadvantage
Aliens (sabotage route)use sabotage alone to push the crew into a losing position without a single kill
Aliens (vote route)steer suspicion onto innocent Crewmates during meetings so they get ejected instead

First steps when a round starts

Step
In short Four quick actions at the start of each round set you up for everything that follows.

Before running anywhere, spend a moment getting your bearings. The decisions you make in the first few seconds shape how useful you are for the rest of the round.

  1. Check your role look at whether you are a Crewmate or an Alien, then decide your goal for this round
  2. Pick a destination if you are a Crewmate, choose one task from your list and head there directly
  3. Watch who you pass note which players you cross paths with and where, because meeting discussions will ask exactly that
  4. Share what you saw when a meeting opens, describe your location and what you actually observed, keeping guesses separate from facts

Completing tasks without wasting time

Tips
In short Grouping nearby tasks and confirming each one is finished is the core habit that moves the task bar forward.

Finishing tasks is a direct contribution to a Crewmate win. Small habits make a big difference over a full round.

Tips worth knowing
  • Before leaving a room, check whether any other tasks on your list are in the same room or the one next door
  • Opening a task screen and actually finishing the task are two different things — always watch for the completion confirmation
  • After a meeting interrupts your work, review your remaining tasks before picking your next destination
05

Responding to sabotage

Warn
In short Ignoring a sabotage while chasing tasks is one of the most common ways Crewmates lose.

Sabotage is an Alien tool that can win them the game on its own. Read the on-screen prompt to find out what happened and where to go, then head there immediately. After the crisis is resolved, check your task list again before moving on.

Worth watching out for
Note who you pass on the way to the sabotage location that information is useful in the next meeting
Once the sabotage is fixed, re-check your task list rather than guessing where you left off
06

Meetings and voting

Step
In short Separating what you saw from what you think you know makes your meeting contribution far more persuasive.

A meeting opens when someone finds a body or triggers an emergency. The quality of information players share determines whether the vote hits an Alien or an innocent Crewmate. Keep your statements short and specific.

  1. Report a body say where you found it, who was nearby, and whether you saw the attack
  2. Share a sighting give the location, the time relative to the round, and exactly what action you observed
  3. Defend yourself if accused, walk through where you moved and who you saw, step by step
  4. Handle thin evidence if you genuinely do not have enough information, say so rather than forcing a guess
  5. Vote carefully before committing, check whether anyone's story about their location contradicts someone else's
07

Playing as an Alien Impostor

Tips
In short Patience and planning win more Alien games than rushing straight to a kill.

Aliens have three separate win routes, which means raw aggression is rarely the best approach. Use all the tools available to you.

Tips worth knowing
  • Before attacking, confirm no other player can see you from any nearby doorway or hallway
  • Plan your exit route before you act so you are not standing still and looking suspicious immediately after
  • Use sabotage with a clear purpose — disrupting tasks or splitting the crew — rather than triggering it randomly
  • Keep your story consistent: remember where you said you were going, because meetings will test that
  • A no-kill, no-sabotage win is possible and earns the Clean Hands badge
08

Badges worth planning around

Table
In short Several badges require repeated wins with specific methods, so it helps to aim for them deliberately rather than picking them up by accident.

The game has sixteen badges. The ones below reward players who branch out beyond basic play and try specific win conditions.

Common questions

FAQ

Can an Alien win without making a single kill?

Yes. One path to an Alien win uses sabotage alone to overwhelm the crew, and another uses meeting discussions to get innocent Crewmates ejected. The Clean Hands badge is awarded specifically for winning as an Impostor with no kills and no sabotages.

How many players can join one room?

A single room holds up to fifteen players.

Where do I enter a redeem code?

Click the gift icon at the top of the game screen, type your code into the ENTER A CODE box, and press the white arrow. Each code expires and can only be used once, so redeem it the moment you find it.

Is this the same as the original Among Us?

No. Crewmates is a Roblox game that was inspired by Among Us but is not affiliated with it.
