How a round works

Summary
In short Every round has one clear goal for each side, and the outcome depends entirely on whether the Chameleons stay hidden until time runs out.

At the start of a round, players are split into Chameleons and Hunters. Chameleons win by staying hidden until time expires. Hunters win by finding every Chameleon before that happens. Up to 50 players can be in the same session at once.

  • Chameleons use the paint tool to match your color to the background and avoid being spotted
  • Hunters track down every hidden Chameleon before the timer runs out
  • Chameleon win condition survive until time expires without being found
  • Hunter win condition locate all Chameleons before time runs out

Winning as a Chameleon

Tips
In short Careful color-matching and smart positioning are the two things that keep you hidden longest.

Your paint tool lets you change your body color to match whatever surface you are standing against. The closer your color is to the background, the harder you are to spot. Where you choose to stand matters just as much as how well you paint.

Tips worth knowing
  • Take your time with the paint tool — a near-perfect match is far harder to detect than a rough one.
  • Pick spots where several colors mix together, since blended backgrounds make it harder for Hunters to notice the difference.
  • Once you find a well-camouflaged position, stay put rather than moving and drawing attention.
03

Winning as a Hunter

Step
In short Systematic room-by-room searching, with a sharp eye for anything that looks slightly off, is the most reliable way to find every Chameleon.

Hunters need to scan the whole map methodically rather than rushing around at random. Chameleons can blend in well, but a mismatched color or an unusual shape will give them away if you look carefully.

  1. Start from the corners work from the edges of each room inward so nothing gets skipped.
  2. Look for color scan for any patch that does not quite match the surface around it.
  3. Check shapes a Chameleon standing still can still have an outline that looks wrong against the background.
  4. Revisit complex backgrounds areas with many mixed colors are where Chameleons prefer to hide, so give them extra attention.

Redeem codes

Check
In short Codes can only be used once each and some expire, so enter any code you find as soon as possible.

You can enter codes through the in-game menu to collect rewards. Each code works only once per account, and some codes have expiry dates after which they stop working.

  • Use a code as soon as you find it in case it has an expiry date.
  • Do not try a code a second time on the same account it will not work after the first use.

Common questions

FAQ

How many players can join one session?

A single session supports up to 50 players at the same time. That pool is split between the Chameleon and Hunter roles each round.

Can I play alone?

The game is built around two opposing roles, so it requires multiple players to function.

What is the best hiding spot as a Chameleon?

Areas where several different colors meet are harder for Hunters to read at a glance, making them better hiding spots than plain single-color surfaces. Staying away from paths that Hunters travel through frequently also gives you more time to remain hidden.
