- Check the lobby see how many players are already waiting before doing anything else.
- Choose your room type join a public room to play with strangers, or create a private room to play only with friends you invite.
- Start the game once all players have readied up, press the start button to kick off the round.
Core rules of a round
SummaryAt the start of a round, chips are laid out on the table and the bomb is hidden among them — nobody knows which chip it is. Players take turns clicking or tapping a chip to eat it. If your chip is safe, the turn passes to the next player. If you pick the bomb, you're out immediately and your opponent wins. In a game with more than two players, rounds keep going until only one person is left.
- Bomb position randomly placed each round, so no two rounds are the same.
- Turn order players go one at a time, picking exactly one chip per turn.
- Safe pick if your chip has no bomb, the turn moves on and you stay in.
- Bomb pick hitting the bomb ends your game instantly; the round does not continue for you.
- Winner the last player who has not been eliminated takes the round.
Reading your opponent
TipsBecause the bomb is random, a big part of the game is psychology. Paying attention to patterns in how your opponent chooses — and hiding patterns in how you choose — is what separates close games from quick losses. The more rounds you play against the same person, the more useful your observations become.
- Notice if your opponent keeps avoiding the same area of chips across multiple turns.
- In a three-or-more-player game, every elimination gives you more information about which positions have already been cleared.
- Change up your own picking pattern each round so your opponent cannot predict your next move.
- Do not alternate or spiral in a fixed order — predictable movement is easy to exploit.
