Getting started at the dealer
StepWhen the game opens, head to the dealer to choose a car or bike. Some vehicles are free, so grab one of those before spending anything. The 2023 Pronto S70 HSM Spec 'Contikiller' Edition is available for free at the dealer. Once you have a vehicle, spend a few minutes driving around the city so the controls feel natural before jumping into a race.
- Visit the dealer check which cars are free and which ones require a gamepass before you commit to anything.
- Pick a free vehicle the Contikiller Edition is confirmed free.
- Check the gamepass tag the dealer now shows tags on cars that need a gamepass, so you know exactly what is locked.

Two ways to race and earn RM
TableRace rewards were refreshed in the Merdeka update. RM is the in-game currency, modelled on the real Malaysian ringgit. Winning races is the main way to build your balance.
| Street race | a multi-turn course through the city. |
| Drag race | a straight-line sprint. |
| Track race | a dedicated circuit format that was also part of the reward refresh in the same update. |
| Gamepass 2x salary | holders receive a RM3000 paycheck. |
Playing as a cop
TipsGrabbing a police tool turns you into an officer whose job is to chase down other players. On a private server, police tools now have collision enabled. Once you leave the server, the tools are removed automatically.
- Pick up a police tool to enter pursuit mode — you are now chasing, not racing.
- Private servers enable collision for police tools.
- Your tools disappear when you leave.
Gamepass vs. no gamepass
TableSeveral cars in the Merdeka update are marked as limited and require a gamepass. Free players still have access to free vehicles, street races, drag races, and police mode.
| With gamepass | RM3000 paycheck, access to limited and gamepass-tagged cars. |
| Without gamepass | free vehicles including the Contikiller Edition, full race participation, police mode. |

Common questions
FAQCan I play for free without buying anything?
Yes. Free vehicles are available at the dealer, including the Contikiller Edition, and you can enter both street and drag races without a gamepass. The main thing you miss out on is the RM3000 paycheck and the gamepass-tagged limited cars.
What is the fastest way to earn RM?
Entering races is the primary earning method, and both street and drag race rewards were refreshed in the Merdeka update. If you have the 2x gamepass, the RM3000 paycheck applies.
Why do police tools disappear when I leave?
The game removes police tools automatically once a player leaves the server.
