Step

In short Everything in the game flows from catching a monster, making it stronger, then testing it in battle.

Roria is full of wild monsters waiting to be caught. Once you have a team, you train them up and take on battles. Winning battles is how you climb toward the Master rank.

Catch monsters add them to your team so they can grow with you.
Train your team raise your monsters' strength.
Challenge battles use your trained team to win matches and build toward Master.
