About

Overview

Plunder drops you into houses and shops guarded by dogs, where you grab everything valuable and get out alive. Dying costs you everything you were carrying — loot and gear alike. This guide covers how a round works, how to survive the dogs, and how to turn your haul into cash.

How a round works

Step
In short Every round follows four stages: sneak in, collect, survive combat, and escape.

A round starts when you enter a building guarded by dogs. You move through the rooms grabbing anything valuable until you either fill your bag, run low on health or ammo, or decide you have enough. Then you head for the exit and make it back to the human world to sell what you found.

  1. Infiltrate sneak into a dog-guarded house or shop.
  2. Collect pick up valuable items and computer parts and put them in your bag.
  3. Fight if a dog spots you, decide fast whether to run or shoot.
  4. Escape leave through the Exit in Zone Zero or the elevator in the dog world.

Getting started

Check
In short Before your first run, make sure you have a pistol, ammo, and a syringe — then practise on one nearby building.

When you first load in, head to Zone Zero or the beginner boxes near the entrance to the dog world to pick up your starting gear. Do not leave until you have all three basics covered. Once you have them, pick one close building and explore only that before pushing further.

  • Grab a pistol from Zone Zero or the starter boxes.
  • Pick up ammo confirm you have rounds before you move out.
  • Take at least one syringe or healing kit for emergencies.
  • Choose a single nearby building for your first run, not a deeper or unfamiliar one.
03

Filling your bag smartly

Tips
In short Prioritise high-value items so you never waste a bag slot on something cheap.

Your bag has a limited number of slots, and once it is full you cannot pick up anything else. Each item shows a price, so use that number to decide whether it is worth taking.

Tips worth knowing
  • Check the price display on each item before picking it up.
  • Take computer parts like memory — they sell just like any other loot.
  • Bones are sellable too, so grab them if you have room.
  • A full bag is not the only reason to head back — low health or low ammo are just as valid.
  • Music discs and graphics cards can be used as upgrade materials for the shop, so check how many you need before selling them.
04

Surviving the dogs

Warn
In short Dogs are faster than you on a straight chase, so keep your distance, aim for the head, and heal before you are desperate.

Some dogs bite and some shoot back, so the way you handle them changes depending on which type you face. In either case, running straight away from a dog rarely ends well — they move faster than you do.

Worth watching out for
Aim for the head when shooting.
Reload before moving into the next room, not after the next fight has already started.
Dogs carrying shields should be fought with bullets and distance, not a bat at close range.
If your health is dropping, break off the fight, put space between you and the dog, then use a syringe or healing kit before continuing.
05

Escaping and selling your loot

Table
In short You earn no money until you sell at the cat's shop after a safe return — getting out alive is always the priority.

The exit looks different depending on where you are. Once you are back in the human world, go straight to the cat's shop. Picking up items during the run does not add a single coin to your wallet on its own.

When to head backbag full, health low, or ammo running short.

06

Spending your money after a run

Tips
In short Fix your single biggest weakness each run and always keep enough money for your next set of basics.

After selling, focus on the one problem that hurt you most in the last run rather than spending on everything at once.

Tips worth knowing
  • If your bag fills up too fast, upgrade it so you can carry more items per run.
  • If you are taking heavy damage, restock armour and healing items before anything else.
  • If fights are taking too long, consider upgrading to a tommy gun or rifle.
  • After a death you lose your bag contents and your equipped gear, so return to the starter boxes or the shop to rebuild from scratch.

Common questions

FAQ

Why hasn't my money gone up even though I collected a lot of items?

Picking up items during a run does not add money on its own. You have to make it back alive and then sell your loot at the cat's shop in the human world. If you die before reaching the exit, everything in your bag is lost.

What happens when I die?

You lose everything in your bag and all the gear you had equipped. Head back to the beginner boxes or the shop to restock, then start with a short run on a nearby building.

Why can't I open the safe?

Safes need you to complete a full unlocking sequence shown on screen — they do not open like regular boxes.
