Getting started as a Hider
Step
When a round begins, your role is shown on screen — check it straight away so you know what to do. As a Hider your first job is finding a good hiding spot before the Killer starts searching. After that, the entire strategy comes down to patience.
- Check the screen confirm your role the moment the round starts.
- Move quickly get to a low-visibility hiding spot before the Killer is ready to hunt.
- Stop completely once you are in position, do not move for any reason.
- Hold your nerve even if you hear the Killer nearby, stay put.
- Spread out if friends are in the same round, choose separate hiding spots so one discovery does not expose everyone.
Playing as the Killer

- Learn the map layout so you can search effectively.
- Watch for any visual movement — a Hider who shifts position gives themselves away.
Redeeming codes
StepThe game distributes codes that can be redeemed for rewards. Find the code entry screen inside the game, then type the code in exactly as it appears. Codes can expire, so redeem any new code as soon as you have it.
- Open the game load into Cluck or Hide! and look for the code entry screen.
- Enter the code type it precisely, as a single wrong character means it will not work.
- Each code can only be claimed once per account.
