KILLSPREE Guide: How a round works
About
OverviewKILLSPREE drops players into a map where as many as five of them are chosen as killers each round. If you are a survivor, you use gear and parkour to stay alive while poison gas slowly closes in. This guide covers how both sides play, what the gas does, and how to handle the special rounds that shake things up every third match.

How a round works
SummaryAt the start of each round, up to five players are randomly selected as killers. Everyone else becomes a survivor whose only job is to last until the round ends. The poison gas expands from the edges of the map inward over time, so sitting still in one hiding spot will eventually get you killed.
- Killers chosen at random, up to five per round
- Survivors everyone not selected; goal is to outlast the round
- Poison gas spreads inward over time, damages anyone it touches
- Special round triggers every third match with different rules
Surviving as a runner
TipsSurvivors have two main tools: gear scattered around the map and parkour movement. Collecting gear strengthens your position, while parkour lets you reach high ground or tight spots. The gas punishes anyone who camps, so keep moving.
- Pick up gear found around the map.
- Use parkour to reach elevated or otherwise hard-to-access spots.
- Stay out of the poison gas.
- Keep moving rather than hiding in a single spot.
Playing as a killer
TipsBeing selected as a killer flips your goal entirely — instead of escaping, you are hunting. The gas affects killers too, so keep track of the safe zone.
- Watch exits and elevated spots that survivors use as cover or escape routes.
- Let the gas pressure survivors toward the safe zone and position accordingly.
Special rounds
WarnThe game confirms that something special happens every third match, with rules that differ from the standard format.
