About

Overview

Therapy is a Roblox communication game where you drop in, chat with other players, and mess around with minigames and room decorations at your own pace. There is no story to finish and no way to win or lose. This guide covers what to do when you first spawn, how to find secrets and earn badges, and how to stay safe while you play.

What to do when you first spawn

Step
In short Your first few minutes are best spent looking around the spawn area before trying to talk to anyone.

When you load in, you land at the spawn point, which is also where the room skins and the two new minigames are located. Take a moment to explore before jumping into chat. Nothing here is timed, so there is no rush.

  1. Look around the spawn area find where the room skin options and the two minigames are sitting before you touch anything.
  2. Try a room skin pick one that suits your mood and it changes how the space looks for you.
  3. Play a minigame give both of the spawn minigames a go, since some badges are tied to actions you do during them.
  4. Start a conversation once you are settled, say something in chat; you can also join a voice chat server from the server list if you prefer talking out loud.
  5. Sit on the lobby chairs working through every chair in the lobby is one of the badges to pick up.

Secrets and how to find them

Check
In short The game hides several secret rooms and interactive surprises that reward you with badges when you stumble on them.

Therapy has at least three secret rooms tucked away, plus a handful of hidden interactions scattered around the map. None of them are signposted, so exploration is the whole point. Check each item below as you find it.

  • Secret room one look for a hidden entrance somewhere in the main space.
  • Secret room two involves pulling a book to get inside, so examine bookshelves carefully.
  • Secret room three described as a well-kept attic, so think about upper areas of the map.
  • The Office door there is a locked door to The Office that can be unlocked; find what opens it.
  • The mouse interaction give the mouse something and see what it hands back.
  • The rare flower find it somewhere on the map and place it on the potted plant.

Full badge list and how to earn each one

Tips
In short Most badges come from specific one-off actions, so knowing what each one needs saves a lot of aimless wandering.

There are 22 badges in total. Work through the list deliberately rather than hoping to stumble into all of them.

  • Find and enter each of the three secret rooms for Secret room, Secret room #2, and Secret room #3.
  • Stay in the game for 30 continuous minutes for the 30 Minutes badge.
  • Place the rare flower on the potted plant for Where This Flower Blooms.
  • Find a Disk and put it in the Radio for New Tune.
  • Give the mouse something and receive something back for Mouse Scare!
  • Unlock the door to The Office for The Office badge.

Events and time-sensitive moments

Warn
In short The Fire Event can appear during a session, and missing it means missing the Firefighter badge until it happens again.

Most things in Therapy happen whenever you choose, but the Fire Event is different. It shows up during a live session and disappears once it is over. Keep an eye out for it so you do not miss the chance to help and earn the badge.

Worth watching out for
The Fire Event is not always active, so stay alert during any session if Firefighter is a badge you still need.
The Kiter badge requires you to keep the kite in the air for a full two minutes without stopping.
Oneshot! requires another player to be present, since you have to hit someone with a fish.
05

Voice chat and text chat

Table
In short Both ways to communicate are fully supported, and neither one is required over the other.

Therapy offers a server list for voice chat servers so you can find a room where people are already talking with microphones. If you would rather type, regular text chat works just as well throughout the whole game.

Voice chatjoin a server from the VC server list.
Text chatavailable everywhere in the game.
Requirementneither option is mandatory.
06

Staying safe while you play

Warn
In short Because this game is built around talking to strangers, knowing the safety basics matters more here than in most Roblox games.

Therapy is designed for light-hearted and satirical conversations, not serious personal discussions. If something real and serious is bothering you, talk to a trusted adult or professional outside the game.

Worth watching out for
Report anyone who is harassing you or acting strangely as quickly as possible.
For anything serious going on in your life, reach out to a real professional rather than relying on a game chat.
