Timebend lets you rewind your own position in time, which means you can undo a fall, back out of a trap, or pull an opponent down while they are in the air.
- If you start falling, activate Timebend immediately to rewind back to safe ground.
- When a trap hits you, rewind to the moment just before you reached it so you can dodge it properly the second time.
- If an opponent is mid-jump or in the air, rewinding at that moment sends them downward.
- Reading other players' movements and rewinding before contact puts you in control of a fight.

Up to 20 players climb the same tower at the same time, so bumps and interference are constant. You can play defensively and focus on your own climb, or take an active role in disrupting others — both are valid approaches the game is built around.
- Pick a path that other players are not crowding so you have room to move without being knocked off course.
- If another player clips you and knocks you off balance, rewind immediately rather than trying to recover in real time.
- Watch where opponents are going and anticipate when their line will cross yours so you can adjust early.
- Sending an airborne opponent downward with Timebend is a legitimate strategy, not just a distraction.
