Getting started in the plaza

Step
In short Your first job is to walk the plaza, get a feel for the booths on offer, and claim one of your own.

When you load in, you spawn inside a social plaza ringed by themed booths. There are 95 of them in total, so it takes a while to see everything. Joining for the first time earns you the Welcome badge automatically. Take a lap before you settle on a booth — the variety is wide.

  1. Walk the plaza circle the whole area before committing to anything so you know what themes are available.
  2. Claim a booth once you spot one you like, claim it so you can start personalizing it.
  3. Check your gear 50 gear items are available, including boomboxes, cameras, and text signs.
  4. Scan for nametags 50 nametags are hidden around the plaza, so keep your eyes open even on your first run.
  5. Earn the Welcome badge just being in the game triggers it, so new players get it right away.

Customizing your booth

Tips
In short Mixing props, colors, and gear lets you build a booth that feels completely different from anyone else's, even if you picked the same starting theme.

Once you hold a booth, you can reshape it using 77 props and a full color picker. Roleplay setups like a courtroom, hospital, or school are popular because the game already provides environments suited to them. Gear items add another layer — a text sign gives visitors context, while a boombox sets the mood.

Tips worth knowing
  • Choose props from a pool of 77 items and place them wherever they fit your theme.
  • Adjust the booth's colors to separate your space from neighboring booths with the same layout.
  • Drop a text sign to give visitors a title, a story prompt, or house rules for your scene.
  • Use a boombox to add atmosphere, especially if you are running a show or performance.
  • Lean into built-in roleplay environments — court, hospital, and school all have natural setups you can work from.
  • Host your finished booth so other players can come in and join the scene.

Hidden collectibles and secrets

Check
In short There are enough hidden things in the plaza to keep you busy long after you have decorated your booth.

Collecting everything in Booth Game takes real exploration. The plaza holds 50 nametags scattered across the map, and the game also hides a character called Builder Guy somewhere in the world — finding him earns a badge. Dynamic weather and a moving time-of-day cycle change how the plaza looks.

  • Hunt all 50 nametags hidden throughout the plaza.
  • Find Builder Guy, the hidden character, for his dedicated badge.
  • During the Easter Event, locate every hidden Easter egg to earn the Found all Easter Eggs badge.
  • During the Halloween Event, complete the requirements to earn the You saved Halloween badge.

Seasonal events worth watching for

Table
In short Both confirmed past events added exclusive badges, so logging in during an active event is always worth it.

Booth Game has run at least two limited events with their own badges. These badges cannot be earned outside the event window, so it pays to check whether one is running when you load in.

Easter Eventhunt hidden Easter eggs across the plaza; finding them all unlocks a badge.
Halloween Eventcomplete the event's objectives to earn the You saved Halloween badge.
Blox Cards collabclaim the special badge in Booth Game to receive cards inside the separate Blox Cards game.

Staying safe and reporting problems

Warn
In short The game gives you a clear path to report bad behavior, so use it rather than sitting on the problem.

The developers provide a ticket system through their communication server for reporting issues. If you have been banned from the server and believe it was a mistake, a separate appeals group exists for that purpose.

Worth watching out for
If you see inappropriate content or harassment, open a ticket in the communication server rather than retaliating.
If you are banned from the server and want to contest it, look for the Communication Appeals group to submit an appeal.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play alone, or do I need friends?

Solo play works fine. Decorating your booth, hunting all 50 nametags, and tracking down Builder Guy are all things you can do by yourself.

What happens if I miss a seasonal event?

Event badges like the Easter egg badge and the You saved Halloween badge are tied to their events, so you cannot earn them once the event ends.
