How puzzles work

Tips
In short Careful observation is the core skill every room demands.

Each room contains puzzles you must solve to unlock the door and escape. Some puzzles ask you to use your intuition rather than follow an obvious rule, so looking at everything in the room matters. Crucially, the codes are randomized on every single playthrough, meaning the answer you used last time will not work again — you have to solve it fresh each run.

Tips worth knowing
  • Do not rely on memorized answers from a previous run; the codes change every time.
  • Strange things can appear behind doors, so stay alert as you move deeper into a run.
03

Jump scares and loud noises

Warn
In short The game includes horror elements, so a little preparation goes a long way.

The game carries a content warning for jump scares and loud noises. This is worth knowing before you invite younger or more sensitive players into your session.

Worth watching out for
Turn your volume down before entering a room, especially if you are wearing headphones.
If sudden scares bother you, bring a friend having someone else in the room makes the experience much easier to handle.
04

Tracking progress with badges and leaderboards

Summary
In short Badges tell you how far you have come, and the leaderboards let you compare your escape record with everyone else.

A badge is awarded for each room you successfully escape, starting at Room 1 and running through Room 24 and beyond. Checking which badges you are missing shows you exactly which rooms still need clearing. Separately, the game records your escapes on two leaderboards: one that covers all time and one that resets daily.

  • Badges earned one per room cleared, giving a clear picture of your overall progress.
  • Uncollected badges each missing badge points directly to a room you have not yet escaped.
  • All-time leaderboard tracks your cumulative escape record across every session you have ever played.
  • Daily leaderboard resets each day, so it rewards consistent play and gives everyone a fresh chance to rank.
  • Saved data your cleared rooms and badge collection are stored, so your record stays intact between sessions.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play alone, or do I need friends?

You can play solo or with up to six players — both work fine.

Will the same code work if I replay a room?

No. The game generates a new randomized code every single playthrough, so you cannot carry an answer over from a previous run. You have to solve each puzzle from scratch each time.

How do I know which rooms I still need to clear?

Check your badge collection. Each room awards its own badge on escape, so any badge you are missing corresponds to a room you have not yet finished. Badges are ordered starting from Room 1, making it straightforward to see gaps in your progress.

Does my progress save if I quit mid-run?

Your overall game data — including badges you have already earned — is saved. You can leave and come back without losing your record of which rooms you have completed.
