01

How a round works

Step
In short The whole game comes down to two things happening at the same time: defending your own code and cracking your opponent's.

At the start of a round, every player picks a 6-digit code that only they can see. From that point on, you take turns entering guesses until someone cracks the other's code completely. The first player to get all six digits right wins.

  1. Pick your code choose any 6-digit number using the digits 0 through 9, then lock it in.
  2. Read the feedback the game shows you which digits in your guess are sitting in the correct position.
  3. Win the round the first player to place all six digits in the right spots wins.

Reading and using the feedback

Tips
In short Every guess gives you positional clues, so treat each result as a piece of the puzzle rather than a pass or fail.

After each guess the game tells you which digits landed in the correct position. That is the main tool you have for narrowing things down.

Tips worth knowing
  • If a digit is confirmed in the right spot, keep it in that exact position on every future guess.
  • For positions that have not been confirmed yet, swap in a different digit each time rather than repeating one that gave you nothing.
03

Choosing a harder-to-crack code

Warn
In short A predictable code hands your opponent an early advantage, so put a little thought into what you set.

Because the feedback system reveals positional information guess by guess, an opponent can close in quickly if your code follows an obvious pattern.

Worth watching out for
Avoid sequences like 123456.
Do not use the same digit across too many positions.
Steer clear of all-same-digit codes like 000000.
04

Playing with a full room

Summary
In short The core rules stay the same no matter how many people join.

A single room holds up to 30 players. Everyone sets their code and starts guessing at the same time.

  • Room size up to 30 players at once.
  • Code setting all players lock in their codes simultaneously at the start.
  • Guessing each player guesses against their assigned opponent while defending their own code.
  • Victory condition the first player in the room to fully crack their opponent's code wins.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I use the same digit more than once in my code?

Yes. Any digit from 0 to 9 can appear as many times as you like across the six positions.

Do I need other players to get a game going?

The game is built around two players guessing each other's codes, so you need at least one opponent. Up to 30 players can be in the same room at once.

What exactly does the feedback after a guess tell me?

It tells you which digits in your guess are in the correct position relative to your opponent's code.
