Card Chaos Guide: Controls and movement
About
OverviewCard Chaos is a 2.5D shooter on Roblox where you stack cards from a pool of over 75 to build a loadout and fight other players. You can play on PC, console, or mobile. This guide covers the controls, how cards and decks work, and how to get more out of specific cards.

Controls and movement
CheckCard Chaos has more movement tools than a standard shooter, so it is worth running through them before you jump into a match. A longer jump hold sends you higher, and wall-clinging lets you hold a position opponents cannot easily reach.
- Shoot Left Click on PC, RT on controller
- Jump Spacebar on PC, LB or X on controller; hold longer to jump higher
- Block Right Click on PC, LT on controller
- Wall cling jump and move toward the wall at the same time
- Descend press S on PC, or push your thumbstick down
How cards and packs work
TipsEvery card belongs to a specific pack, so you need to open the right pack to have a chance at a given card. Cards come in different rarities — Legendary cards are rarer than Rare cards, and packs have set drop chances for each. Bullet cards change how your shots behave, while stat cards directly raise or lower numbers like health, attack speed, and reload time. Stats and rewards do not carry over when you play in a private server, so use public servers if you want your progress to count.
- Bullet cards shape the core of your offense because they change what your shots actually do
- Stat cards support your build by adjusting health, speed, and other numbers
- Each card can only be obtained from one specific pack — check the card before you spend
- Private servers are useful for practice but will not record stats or grant rewards
- Play on a fast, stable connection at the highest graphics setting for the best experience
Free cards and redeem codes
StepNuke and Angel are both Legendary cards you receive for free, so every player starts with two powerful options. On top of that, redeem codes give you spin tokens and cash that you can put toward opening packs for the cards you actually want.
- Claim your free cards Nuke and Angel are Legendary cards given to every player at no cost
- Find the code box look for the redeem input in the game's lobby or main menu
- Type carefully codes are case-sensitive, so check capitals before you submit
- Submit and collect a successful code gives you spin tokens or cash on the spot
- Move on if it fails an error means the code is expired or already used on your account; find a current one and try again
Nuke — high damage, slow fire rate
TipsNuke is one of the free Legendary cards. Your bullet size grows alongside the damage increase. One stack raises base damage from 45 to 126 and pushes attack speed to 1.57 seconds per shot; a second stack reaches 397.8 damage but slows you to 5.51 seconds between shots.
- Damage at 1 stack — 126 (up from a base of 45)
- Attack speed at 1 stack — 1.57 seconds per shot
- Damage at 2 stacks — 397.8
- Attack speed at 2 stacks — 5.51 seconds per shot
- Nuke synergizes with cards that decrease attack speed delay and cards that give bounces like Calculated and Bouncy
Angel — healing on every block
TipsAngel is the other free Legendary card. Every time you block, you heal a percentage of your maximum health — not your current health. That distinction matters when you are low on HP, because the heal is calculated from your full pool regardless of how much you have left.
- Heal at level 1 — 20% of max HP per block
- Heal at level 4 — 50% of max HP per block
- Health penalty — reduced by 15% at level 1, scaling down further at higher levels
- Block CD penalty — increases by 0.35 seconds at level 1, adding 0.10 seconds per additional level
- Angel synergizes with cards that lower block cooldown, give extra blocks, restore block, or raise max health
Berserker — the low-health power spike
TipsBerserker is a Legendary card from the Battler Pack. Once your health drops to 50% or lower, all of your stats except bullet speed and max health are buffed. The passive does not need any setup beyond surviving long enough to trigger it.
- Berserker passively boosts damage by 125%, attack speed by 60%, movement speed by 45%, and cuts both reload time and block cooldown when you are at half health or below
- Deliberately stepping into the void can drop you to exactly 50% health to trigger the passive on purpose
- Berserker also gives a flat 35% damage increase just from being equipped, even before the passive fires
Rulebreaker — making bounces do more
WarnRulebreaker is a Legendary bullet card from the Skill Pack. Its passive makes bullet hit effects — things like Explosion, Ice Spike, Fireworks, Chug Splash, and Golden Dust — trigger again on each bounce instead of only on the initial hit. Each card level adds one more bounce activation, so level 4 covers all four bounces.
Black Flash and Bloodlust — timing and kill-stacking
StepBoth of these Legendary cards reward aggressive play but in different ways. Black Flash is a single well-timed shot; Bloodlust is a sustained snowball across multiple kills.
- Black Flash reduces your block cooldown by 15%
- Time your shot fire within 50 milliseconds of blocking; the bullet turns red, gains a huge speed boost, and your damage is raised to the power of 1.5
- Base damage of 45 becomes roughly 302 on a Black Flash, and any damage above about 21.54 is enough to one-shot a player at full base health
- It is not good to pair Black Flash with cards that increase your block cooldown
- Bloodlust each kill adds 3% damage, 3% bullet speed, and cuts reload time by 2% at level 1
- Level 2 Bloodlust overrides level 1's buffs rather than stacking on top of them

- A special effect that triggers when your bullet lands, such as an explosion or ice spike — Rulebreaker can make these fire on bounces too.

- Block
- A defensive action on right click or LT that can also trigger effects on cards like Angel and Black Flash.

Common questions
FAQDoes it matter whether I play on PC, console, or mobile?
All three platforms are supported, but mobile and console support are still being improved by the developer. The game recommends a fast internet connection and the highest graphics setting regardless of platform.
Why does Homing work better when my bullet speed is low?
Homing modifies your bullet to curve toward nearby players, and the slower the bullet moves, the more time it has to correct its path. Cards that raise bullet speed actively reduce how well Homing functions, so avoid pairing it with anything like Hitscan that increases bullet speed.
How does Return By Death protect me against strong opponents?
Every time the same enemy kills you, their effective damage against you drops by 8% — stacking exponentially, so after ten deaths from one player you are only taking about 43% of their damage. The reduction is tracked per enemy, not shared across all players.
Is Annoyance useful or just for trolling?
Annoyance cuts everyone's damage by 25%. It can also be paired with Solo Leveling for a more disruptive style of play.
