Unlocking Naoya Zen'in
Step
In short
Naoya is unlocked through nine consecutive quests from Naobito Zen'in at the Abandoned Shrine — finish them all with Standless equipped for the final claim.
Head to the Abandoned Shrine area and enter the large temple. Talk to Naobito Zen'in repeatedly until he hands you the first quest — you must be using a non-JJK spec to start the chain. Each quest has specific requirements, and you return to Naobito after every one to unlock the next. The chain runs nine quests in total. At the very end, switch to Standless and talk to Naobito one final time to claim Naoya.
- Arrive at the Abandoned Shrine go to Naobito inside the big temple with a non-JJK spec equipped.
- Quest 1 Kill 21 John Zenins, who have a 50% chance to replace Thug and Bandit spawns.
- Quest 2 Kill one player using Gojo and one player using Choso.
- Quest 3 Kill 2 Paper Curses and 1 Special Grade Curse, take 2000 damage, deal 2000 damage, and rack up 1000 block damage.
- Quest 4: Kill 15 female-category specs, get killed 15 times by them, and use Standless's T move 50 times on one of them examples include Herrscher of Flamescoin, Red Mist, and Izayoi Sakuya.
- Quest 5 Walk around and dash 100 times, then win 3 one-on-one matches.
- Quest 6: Type /e bow toward a player using Gojo and another using Toji if chat is blocked, ask Naobito for the Bow Tool instead.
- Quest 7 Kill a Gojo player 10 times and a Toji player 10 times.
- Quest 8 Kill the Kamo Remnant boss, which spawns every 1 hour 30 minutes in the tunnel at Kamo's Hideout where Silver Chariot Requiem also spawns.
- Quest 9: Enter the dungeon Naobito sends you into, clear all waves, and defeat Naoya at the end then switch to Standless and talk to Naobito to claim Naoya.

Naoya's Curse Form

Transforming into Curse Form requires reaching 25 HP or lower and then taking a hit while G is active.
Naoya has two forms: Base Form and Curse Form. While transforming, you can still hit opponents for small amounts of damage.

- Damage during transform each hit deals 2 damage, up to around 50 total.

Glossary- Standless
- The state of having no spec equipped, which is required at specific points in certain quest chains.
- Kamo Remnant
- A boss enemy that spawns in the Kamo's Hideout tunnel area every 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- John Zenin
- A type of enemy that has a 50% chance to replace normal Thug and Bandit spawns, relevant to Naoya's first quest.
- Premium
- A paid status that gives a 1.15x XP bonus on top of normal gains.
Common questions
FAQHow do I get the Bow Tool for Quest 6 if chat is disabled?
Talk to Naobito during Quest 6 and he will give you the Bow Tool as an alternative to typing the /e bow emote in chat.
What do I do if the game freezes or breaks?
Close Sakura Stand completely and reopen it. If the problem keeps happening, use the in-game report function to let the developers know, since the game is still actively being developed.
