How ores are organized
SummaryEach ore in the game is assigned a tier based on its spawn rarity. Tiers run from Layer at the surface all the way up to Imaginary and Zenith. Zenith ores require special challenges rather than ordinary mining, and Exclusive ores can only be placed in your inventory by a developer. Your collected ores appear in a list on the left side of the screen, sorted by tier.
- Layer the cave-wall and layer blocks; always present
- Common through Mythic rarity 1 to 999,999; found by normal mining
- Exotic through Otherworldly rarity 1,000,000 to 10,000,000,000; found by normal mining
- Imaginary rarity 20,000,000,000 and above
- Zenith special challenges required, not regular spawn odds
- Exclusive developer-placed only, cannot be mined
Ionized and Spectral variants
TipsWhen an ore spawns, the game rolls a separate chance for it to appear Ionized or Spectral instead of normal. Higher-tier ores have a better shot at these variants — an Uncommon has a 1 in 100 chance to be Ionized, while an Enigmatic has a 1 in 30 chance. Spectral requires a successful Ionized roll followed by an additional 1 in 15 roll, regardless of tier. Ionized and Spectral ores cannot be sold, but some are required for high-tier crafting recipes. You can view all three variants of any ore by pressing the Normal button above the search bar in your ore inventory.
- Tap an ore's rarity number in your inventory list to see its exact Ionized and Spectral rarities.
- Ionized and Spectral colors are set by the world you are in, so the same ore looks different in a different world.
- Ionized and Spectral ores cannot be sold.
- Layer-tier ores cannot appear Ionized or Spectral under normal circumstances.
Getting started — Crystal Coil and Spirit Pickaxe
StepEarning the Medal Event badge for crafting the Crystal Coil is one of the game's official achievements, as is crafting the Spirit Pickaxe from World 1.

How events work
TipsAt any point while you are playing, an event can activate for everyone in the server. A message appears at the top of the screen naming the event. Rather than improving an ore's base rarity, an event adds a completely independent roll for that ore — and regular luck boosts do not apply to this extra roll. The event ends either when its timer runs out or when the event roll itself succeeds and produces the ore. Since the Fusions update, a timer shows the remaining event duration, and hovering over it reveals the event's details. You can no longer re-roll into the same event twice in a row.
- Luck gear and boosts do not help the event roll.
- Some events also add bonus rolls for specific cave types, such as extra Frozen Cave rolls during the Inclemetite event.
- Certain gears interact directly with events — the Lucidium Locator can modify, activate, and re-roll events, while the Plasmonium Neutralizer lets you blacklist specific events.
- The Phantasm Lantern, Vortaxe, and X2-Bomb each have luck boosts that do apply to event ore rolls specifically.
- Hover over the event timer to see exactly how long the current event has left and what its effects are.
Cave types and where rare ores hide
CheckBeyond the main layers, the mine contains special cave types that spawn their own exclusive ores. Three cave types added in the Spring 2026 update — Floral, Lucky, and Eggshell — are good examples of this system in action.
- Floral Caves (1 in 10 spawn chance) contain cave-exclusive ores including Verdite, Everbloom, and Resonance, with Evanessence appearing at 1 in 82,446,810.
- Lucky Caves (1 in 15 spawn chance) contain exclusives such as Trifolium, Cl0ver, Clovara, and Prosperity, with Celinity at 1 in 150,000,000.
- Eggshell Caves (1 in 26 spawn chance) contain exclusives including Eleggtricity, Faberge of Mining, and Egerarilia.
- Beehive spawns only on cave ceilings inside Floral Caves.
- Bungy spawns only on cave floors inside Eggshell Caves.
- Mythic and higher ores can be traded between players who have mined over one million blocks.
The Fusion system and Essence
StepThe Fusions update on August 21, 2026 overhauled the Transformation Machine and introduced Essence as a new currency. Essence is earned by running ore variants through the Ore Analyzer, which converts them into normal versions of that ore. Seventeen Fusion ores were added in that update, ranging from Exotic up to Unfathomable, including Temporal Prism, Azimuth, Stygia, La Sangra, and The Tower at the top tier. Transformation-exclusive ores can also be Ionized or Spectralized using Essence.
- Acquire the Ore Analyzer and use it on ore variants to convert them into normal versions and earn Essence.
- Visit the Transformation Machine to spend Essence to unlock Fusion ores or to Ionize and Spectralize transformation-exclusive ores.
- Fusion ores span Exotic through Unfathomable across 17 ores added in the August 21, 2026 update.
Rules that will get you permanently banned
WarnThe game's official rules are clear on two points. Breaking either one results in a permanent game ban.

Common questions
FAQDo luck boosts help during events?
Not for the event's extra ore roll — that roll is completely separate from your base rarity and is not affected by regular luck boosts. However, a few specific gears like the Phantasm Lantern and Vortaxe have luck boosts that do apply to event rolls.
How do I get Fusion ores?
Use the Ore Analyzer on ore variants; this converts them into normal versions and awards you Essence. Take that Essence to the Transformation Machine to unlock Fusion ores, which range from Exotic up to Unfathomable. Seventeen Fusion ores were added in the August 21, 2026 update.
Can I trade ores with other players?
Yes, but only ores that are Mythic tier or higher, and both players must have mined over one million blocks.
What happens if I use an auto-clicker or play on two accounts at once?
Both actions are against the game's official rules and result in a permanent ban. The game's description states that violations will be caught.
