How a match works

Step
In short Understanding the basic flow of a match lets you contribute to your team from the very first round.

When you join a server, the game assigns you to one of four teams: red, blue, green, or yellow. Players on every other color are your enemies. The leaderboard tracks your kill count so you can see how much you are contributing at any moment.

  1. Read the leaderboard your kill total appears there and counts toward several badges.
  2. Target enemies anyone wearing a different team color is a valid target.
  3. Push for the win to earn the Winner! badge, your team must win in a server with at least four players.

Kill streaks and what they unlock

Table
In short Streak badges and leaderboard badges track kills separately, so you are working toward both at the same time.

Kill streaks count consecutive kills without dying, while leaderboard kill badges count your total kills recorded across a session. The two systems are independent.

Hard-to-get and developer badges

Check
In short A handful of badges depend on luck or rare events rather than skill.

Two badges tied to the developer MaxSP_Yt require being in the same server as them — something you cannot arrange on demand. The border badge triggers from being launched extremely far, which is also outside your direct control.

  • Reach The Border awarded when you are flung to the far edge of the map.
  • Meet MaxSP_Yt! the developer must be in your server at the same time you are.
  • You Defeated MaxSP_Yt! same requirement as Meet MaxSP_Yt!, plus you have to be the one who eliminates them.
  • Winner! requires at least four players in the server when your team wins.

Glossary

Traitor!
A badge awarded when you accidentally eliminate a friend.
Hammer v5.3
The current build version of the game, as shown on the game's own page.
Reach The Border
A badge that unlocks when a hit sends you flying all the way to the outer edge of the map.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I earn the Winner! badge?

Your team must win a match in a server that has at least four players in it.

Do kill streaks and leaderboard kills share the same count?

No — they are two separate systems. Streak badges reward consecutive kills without dying, while leaderboard badges reward your running total across the session. A death resets your streak but does not subtract from your leaderboard total.

How many maps does the game have?

There are six maps available in the current build.

Can I get the developer badges on purpose?

Not really — meeting MaxSP_Yt and defeating them both require the developer to be in your server at the same moment you are, which is a matter of chance.
