The two roles: Runner and Tagger

Table

In short Knowing your role's goal before the round starts is the most important thing you can do.

Every match splits players into Runners and Taggers. A session holds up to sixteen players. Runners win by staying untagged until time runs out; Taggers win by tagging every single Runner before that happens.

Tips

In short Upgrades raise your cat's abilities and make the game easier to play in either role.

The game lets you upgrade your cat to raise its abilities. More upgrades mean you are harder to catch as a Runner and faster to close the gap as a Tagger.

Tips worth knowing

Upgrades raise your cat's stats regardless of which role you are playing.
As a Runner, stronger abilities help you stay ahead of Taggers longer.
As a Tagger, upgraded stats let you catch up to Runners more easily.

The developers distribute codes that you can redeem in-game for rewards. As of October 10, 2026, there are two working codes tracked for this game. Each code can only be used once.

Glossary

Runner: A player whose goal is to avoid being tagged and survive until the game ends.
Tagger: A player whose goal is to tag every Runner before time runs out.
Upgrade: A system for boosting your cat's abilities, giving you an advantage whether you are running or tagging.
Cosmetic: An appearance item that changes how your cat looks without affecting any gameplay stat.
